How to unlock the Beginner's Luck achievement in Outer Wilds - Definitive Guide
Reach the Eye of the universe in one loop.
The other solution is great if you're working your way towards and you don't want to lose that progress, but if you're running this from a new expedition and just want to get the achievement here is the step by step guide:
NOTE: If you die at any point, you need to quit and start a new expedition again, this needs to be done in a single loop.
1. Acquire your launch codes from Hornfel in the Observatory
2. Launch your ship and head to the Ember Twin orbiting near the Sun
3. Land near the Distress Beacon (bright blue light being projected into the air) and acquire that Signal by scanning it with your Signal Scope
4. Hop back in your ship and fly to the Ash Twin (the other planet attached)
5. Land offset of the equator so your ship doesn't get sucked up in the sand and wait for a little bit. (You're waiting for the tower to be uncovered)
6. The tower we need to use is broken roofed one found by following the bridge from the Sun Shaped tower, there are two towers here, you want to enter the one with the dead Nomai laying in front of it (should have a broken/exposed roof)
7. Stand against the wall and look up, making sure you're underneath a piece of the remaining roof as to not get sucked up into the sand
8. Once the black hole teleporter (the purple square on the floor) is exposed, you are ready to teleport
9. To teleport, wait until the sand has come around and is going directly overhead, as it's passes over step into the middle of the room while looking up and you will be warped to the core of the Ember Twin
10. Once you've entered the core, run around the loop until you reach the orb switches, deactivate the shielding around the warp core and turn of artificial gravity and grab the newly exposed core
11. Maneuver your way back to the White Hole warp pad and leave the core and return to your ship
12. Fly to the Dark Seed Bramble and enter it with the Distress Signal searching, following the signal through seed until you arrive at the source
13. Turn around and follow the little light blocks until you reach a seed with a bunch of dead Nomai around
14. Shoot your Scout through the seed and watch it land on the Vessel now fly down to the red light
15. Stop just outside the red light seed and get out of your ship, making sure your air and fuel are full
16. Line up so you're not looking directly at any of the white lights and SLOWLY move forward to enter the seed.
17. Once you enter you should just be floating perfectly passed the Anglerfish, if you NEED to make adjustments make them very sparingly. Your goal is to float past them and when the scout reads ~1.5km you can move a little faster
18. Head to the scout location being careful of the one other potential anglerfish
19. Once you reach the seed, you can fly fast into it and head straight for the Vessel on the otherside
20. Enter the Vessel and head to the left in the hallway and enter the entryway on the left to find where you need to place the warp core
21. Place the warp core, move the orb switch to the code input device (so move it to the right) and then enter the code
22. Once the code is entered and the code entry machine descends downward, grab the orb switch and pull it upwards and enjoy your achievement!

Yep, just confirming that step 15 and 16 are unnecessary. I have flown through multiple times with no worries. You can even adjust the ships trajectory while floating past the anglerfish. Just don't apply any gas.
Also, the trail of lights described in step 13 are tiny little lights that are blueish in colour. They are not the large white lights that you have been seeing this whole time. Once you get there it's really obvious what these lights are.
As for firing your scout through the seed in step 14, you just need to aim your ship slightly to the left of the opening to account for where the scout shooter sits on your ship. If you are struggling with this, you can always exit your ship and float right up to the opening and fire through using your personal scout shooter. Either way, once the scout flies through the opening you can take some photos as it travels. These photos should reveal a large vessel. This is your destination. The scout will land on it and give you the exact coordinates you need to follow once you go through the red seed in step 17.
Anybody who has played this game through from beginning to end will be able to follow the original solution with ease. If you are struggling to understand this person's solution then you really need to play the game first before tackling this achievement. Everything that is described here are basic mechanics, strategies and locations that you will use/visit throughout the game.

It's merely information others may not have known, seeing as this shows "Hidden Achievement" when showing the Secret Details. I understand it's not an exact description of what to do, but gives us an idea of what is needed.

Here is my Video Guide, with commentary. I did watch a few videos and found it hard to work out what people were doing until I was more experienced in the game. Let me save you the bother. Can be done in 25 minutes Enjoy

Big help, easy to follow, did it on the third try through the bramble.

This one unlocked for me the moment I finished the code input. I would suggest leaving your ship behind just before you enter the final three monster fish area (with the fish eggs). Max your oxygen and fuel then aim at the center of the entrance and full trust until it teleport you inside. The momentum will carry you through. Never once did I bump into the fishes and I did this at last a dozen times overall while playing the game. When You see the eggs (1.5 distance from scout) you can jetpack freely until You see the vessel.

Since I'm there first here to unlock this I'll add a new Guide, but I've got the Tip from Ch1ps (cheers!)
As the Description says you need to Reach the Eye of the universe in one loop. Every time you die you start a new loop - so you need to start a new Game to unlock this.
But since you properly won't want to lose your Progress for the Archaeologist Achievement do this: Unplug your Network Cabel or go-offline, then go into the Game Settings and delete your Savegame and start a New Game.
The Achievement will unlock after used the Warpdrive (so if your playing offline you can't see that, but you can exit the Game after that) After this Plug the Network Cabel or go Online and start the Game again then you should get a Request if you want to use your local (new) or cloud (old) save - chose the Cloud Save to Recover your Progress.
Microsoft / Xbox One doesn't like you playing offline, because of that the Achievement won't unlock after the Credits Screen (where it properly unlocks normally). For me, it popped the next Day (~12 hours) while playing.

You only need to be offline when you boot up the game, to avoid the syncing of save files (or you can just cancel it if you're quick enough). You can be online before unlocking the achievement and get a normal timestamp no problem.

Fantastic guide and video. As I thought, once you learn how to get there, starting a new expedition would be the easiest way to do it. Thanks for posting this!

WARNING - MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD
This particular achievement is basically to beat the game without dying or resetting. You must do this all on a brand new expedition. I would recommend creating a new profile just for this achievement after you have completed everything else in the game. Because we will be beating the entire game, consider everything from this point forward to be a spoiler.
Tips:
-You will have a grand total of 22 mins to do this. If you take too long, you will reset and have to try again.
-Be careful not to damage your ship, as repairs will eat up valuable time.
-Start a new profile to avoid losing any progress on your main playthrough.
Here is the step by step guide to receiving this achievement:
-Run through the village, up the path behind the waterfall and over to the observatory. Talk to the person upstairs and get the launch codes.
-Return to where you spawned (there is a direct path to the elevator outside the observatory and to the left. Enter the launch codes, go up the lift, and enter your ship. Be sure to put on your space suit.
-Take off and fly to the Ember Twin. Look for the crashed ship with the beam of blue light shooting out near it and land nearby. Get out and use your Signalscope on the distress beacon that is producing the said blue light beam. You now should have identified the Distress Beacon signal
-Take off from the Ember Twin and land on the close by Ash Twin. Land near the equator but not directly on it so the sand pillar doesn't suck up your ship. Wait until the sand lowers down enough to enter one of the twin towers on the equator. They are two towers right next to each other, one with a broken roof.
-When you can, enter the shorter tower and stand in the little enclave by the bookshelves so you have a roof over your head. Wait for the sand pillar to head over top, and when it is directly above you, quickly run onto the purple teleporter on the floor.
-You will be warped to the Ash Twin Project. Follow the path all the way to the end. Drag the light orb in the floor (by staring at it) as far as it can go and up the small pillar to unlock the Warp Drive. Nearby is another light orb. Drag it to disable gravity. Float to the warp core above you and take it. Return through the portal you entered.
-Run back to your ship. If you need to refuel your suit do this now. Take off and fly to the Dark Bramble Seed. Enter it while your Signalscope is tuned to the Distress beacon and follow the signal through a seed. Be careful about how much thrust you use to avoid attracting Anglerfish.
-Follow the signal to a crashed ship, and follow the nearby trail of light cubes through some twisting vines until you see a seed with a bunch of dead people floating around.
-Fire your Scout into the seed. Take a picture to make sure it landed by the Vessel. Exit the back of this seed area and go towards the nearby red seed.
-Align yourself to an opening of this seed and enter it fast. Then do not touch any controls and you will safely drift past all the anglerfish without alerting them. When you are far enough away, carefully work your way towards where your scout is located. There may be an extra anglerfish nearby so be careful and use thrust sparingly.
-When you reach the seed, enter and head towards the Vessel. There shouldn't be any anglerfish here. Enter the Vessel and follow the hall way to the left to enter the control room. Insert the warp core into the center console.
-Drag the light ball on the floor towards the front window. A pillar will rise up with three sides. We must input a symbol into each of the three sides using the light ball to touch the nodes and connect them. The patterns are following:
Side 1: Bottom left, middle left, upper right. (L shape tilted)
Side 2: Bottom left, upper right, upper left, bottom right (Hourglass shape with disconnected bottom)
Side 3: Bottom left, middle left, upper left, bottom right, middle right, upper right. (S shape on its side)
-After inputting the code and dragging the light ball to the end, the pillar will lower down revealing another light ball. Drag this to the top. This action is what caused my achievement to pop. If it doesn't, drag the light ball on the floor to the opposite side and enter the black hole that forms.
Congratulations on earning the Beginner's Luck Achievement!

This trophy can be considered as "missable" as you need to start a new expedition in order to get it and it will be probably your last trophy.
You must reach the eye of the universe in one loop, without dying or restart the loop. Once you know what to do, this trophy is pretty doable. Follow these steps if you struggle with getting it:
Spoilers ahead!!!

Spoilers ahead!!!
- Once you wake up, reach the Observatory and retrieve the Launch Codes then leave the Observatory and enter your ship, suit up and fly to Ember Twin.
- Go to the Distress Beacon, (follow the blue beam of light) and use your Signalscope (). Distress Frequency will be added to it.
- Go to Ash Twin and wait until the Twin Towers will be revealed. Land your ship far from the Equator and wait until the teleport pad on the bottom floor of the broken tower is uncovered.
- Stand under the bridge and once the Sand Storm is overhead, you will see the teleport pad activating. Run to it.
- Expose the Core of the station, disable the artificial gravity, grab the functional Warp Core and go back to the exit.
- Reach the ship and go to Dark Bramble
- Go inside the Bramble and use your Signalscope. Select the Distress Frequency and follow it until you find the Escape Pod.
- Follow the light cubes until you reach the Nomai Grave site and fire a Scout inside the Dark Bramble seed.
- Fly towards the orange light following the indication of the scout and get out of the ship before entering it.
- This is the hardest part: try to move idly, without activating any rockets, in order to go past the 3 Angler-fish. If you have to use them, try to don't go past two indicators.
- Point towards the Scout's signal and head towards it. There are still Anglers around this area, so go slowly. Enter the next bramble to be safe.
- Go inside the vessel and reach the Bridge. Place the Warp Core in the slot.
- Enter the coordinates by connecting the following dots:
- 1: Low left -> middle left -> upper right
- 2: Low left -> upper right -> upper left -> low right
- 3: Low left -> middle left -> upper left -> low right -> middle right -> upper right
- Once done, teleport to the Eye of the Universe.

Let's go through the game. We remember the codes from the starship. We get all the other trophies (especially for journal research, the longest trophy). After this, we start a new game, quickly run to the observatory, to the ship, fly to the Hour of Ashes, then to the Blackthorn. There should be enough time with a margin of about 3-5 minutes. The most difficult thing is to fly past the fish guarding the spaceship.

Surely you will watch a video about this trophy, but in the moment with angler fish, the main thing to take into account is one nuance: after entering the core with a red glow, do not touch the stick that controls the engines at all: the standard acceleration with which you will be pulled into the core is quite enough to fly past the anglerfish and get to the "spawn". I died there more than ten times, believing that you need to develop at least some speed at the start and aim where to fly - it will take you where you need to go.

So that you don’t suffer for 3 hours, like me, in search of this stupid spaceship, I will say: the grain leading to it is not visible from the entrance to the location and it does not glow with a light. The way to it is like this: we fly into a thorn bush, then into a red grain. There we soar without engines towards the red light, which turns out to be caviar. And immediately behind it, a little below, a slingshot-shaped vine begins, and right below it is the desired grain. There are no lights inside. If you see lights inside, then this is the wrong way
