Thanks for the clarification as I had already done other achievements prior to this one. Restart the game and walk into the fire to get it lol

The key is not to die by fire, but die quickly right after starting. In case that wasn’t clear for someone other than me.

And so no-one misinterprets what’s meant by “restarting” here; you just need to die within 60 seconds of waking up in any loop. You don’t need to reset any progress, just die quickly upon waking up, that’s all.

I was able to get this achievement while pursuing the "Hey, what's this button do?" cheevo in which you eject from your ship. I was instantly killed.

A quick way to unlock this is as soon as you spawn, run to the campfire ahead of you and jump in... then just wait a few seconds.

Pretty easy. There are tons of ways to die but the shortest are:

Die inside the bonfire as soon as you wake up
Leave with your ship and go out as soon as possible without taking the space suit
Leave with your ship and go inside the sun
