How to unlock the Asahel achievement in Outlast 2 - Definitive Guide

If you are struggling to finish the game in under 4 hours, I recommend that you follow this video. I was able to get Sanctified, Preacher, Prophet & Asahel on my 2nd playthrough using this video. If you are worried about dying a lot and wasting time, you could force quit the game whenever you die then relaunch it and continue game. I used this method and still got the Achievement even though I died frequently. Good luck!

"you could force quit the game whenever you die then relaunch it and continue game". How can you get the achievement "Preacher" like that? shock Indeed, you have no save in this mode.... warning

Hello Rocky. I'm talking about if you play the game on Normal, Hard or Nightmare difficulty, then you would be able to quit out when you die and reload so you don't lose time for the under 4 hours achievement. In order to complete the game on Insane you will have to learn the game off the top of your head. Practice the difficult parts on Nightmare difficulty until you know you can do it perfectly every time without dying, then you will be ready for the Insane difficulty. Good luck.

Oh ok, I give up for the Insane difficulty laugh However, indeed, this video helped me so much to get all the other achievements on Nightmare difficulty wink

At first this may seem tough but it is actually pretty easy. 4 hours is plenty of time and you will have well over an hour spare when you complete the game. Since you will be practising every chapter to prepare for your insane run, you will know exactly where to go and shouldn't have any problem finishing it in under 4 hours. You should get this when you have completed your insane run since you know exactly what to do.

You could also combine this with Step 2 and complete the game on nightmare difficulty whilst practising for your Insane run but it's up to you.

A 2-hour speedrun with the collection of documents and records, as well as a trophy for not hiding behind the game.
Please note - he is playing on PC, there are two videos that are not on the PS4 version. He also skips the disconnection of the switches at the end with Martha, falling through the textures. Go through this area as usual, still get it done, but there are no documents in this location.
