How to unlock the SOAKED achievement in Outlast - Definitive Guide

This achievement is unmissable and will be unlocked at the end of chapter 4 "the male ward".

To activate the sprinklers you must first find 2 pumps and turn them on. Since there is no map in this game whatsoever it is hard to explain, where exactly the sprinklers are. I will try it anyway :-D. From the location in which you see the guy chasing you for the first time the first sprinkler is in the room on the far right side of this bigger room you are in at this point of the game.
This room to the right is conected to another room, which is connected to a third room itself. In this room you will find your valve.
The second pump is (again from the point in which you see the big guy for the first time) in the left corner. I had problems finding this one because in the left corner of the big-ish room you will only see a hallway with some things blocking the way. You can actually crouch through the slit between those things. from there on just proceed untill you find the 2nd valve (don't worry big guy can't follow you here)

Story related and cannot be missed. 

You will pass the pump that activates the sprinklers and arrive in an open room. Quickly run to the right and through the room with the laundry baskets and activate the first pump. The enemy will enter the laundry room and as long as you are hidden in the far end of the room, he will turn around and go back to patrolling the main room. You can either sneak or run past him and head to the path which was originally on your left as there is a tight gap you can squeeze through. Continue past the baths and activate the second pump. From there all you have to do is sneak back past the enemy in the main room and activate the main pump. Once you have done this the achievement will unlock.
