Cooking recipes are created through a cooking pot or a kitchen. There's a kitchen available at the start of the game after leaving the beach and waking up at the lighthouse. It's on the lowest floor, in a side room. Alternatively, you can find or purchase a cooking pot from a merchant. This is wise to do anyway, as you'll likely need a cooking pot when you venture out of the city.

For the achievement, you need to craft something that has 4 ingredients. An easy one is Gaberry Jam, which only requires 4 Gaberries to create. You can find these on bushes all around Aurai, as well as the starting city. Just wander the town until you've found four bushes.

When you have the berries, begin crafting at the cooking pot or kitchen and then fill four slots with the Gaberries. Create it, and you'll have the jam. This will unlock the achievement.

There are plenty of other recipes to use as well, but this one happens to be pretty simple to do.
