The first one I ran into was in the Compromised Mana Station that I was exploring for the Rust and Vengeance parallel quest. Near the Gemstone B key is a hive lord, and around the circular platform is a Pure Illuminator. It staggered very easily so I did not see what attacks it might have. It was easier than the Shell Horror near it.
