How to unlock the Dishwasher achievement in Overcooked! 2 - Definitive Guide

On level 1-3, just put one of your chefs by the wash station and have your other chef start serving dish with nothing on it. It will dirty the plates quickly and the dirty plates gets returned right next to the washing station so you can just continue to clean plates without having to do much running around other than grabbing the clean plates. As with most achievements on here if you have a second player willing to help it will go much faster but doing it solo will also go pretty fast.

Note you have to be the one actually cleaning the dishes for it to count. Also the tracker does not go up until after you have completed the mission.

Edit: per Elite1111111111 you can serve the plate with nothing on it.

You actually don't have to put anything on the plate. You can just serve an empty plate.

Hmmm we tried serving with nothing and wasn't letting us but will make a note on solution.

In arcade mode (couch) you can, I just tried.

We just did 1-3 turning in empty plates, like you suggested, and it worked wonderfully (story co-op, online).

For anyone wondering - i thought this was glitched for me as the counter wasn't going up it would only register after the time had run out and level "Finished".

Not sure if this was the case for everyone....

It counts in real time but doesn’t update the achievement percentage and tracker until after the round has finished

Level 5-1 (Sushi City) is brilliant for cheesing this achievement. The sink is right next to the delivery belt and dirty plate pile.

Also, if you are playing Arcade mode, rather than let the timer run to zero and have to restart until you find that level again, pause before the timer reaches zero and hit restart.

We go into the company, press "square" and turn on Practice mode, at levels 1-3 we hand over empty plates, dirty ones appear immediately near the sink, 5-10 minutes and the trophy will fall out.
