Obviously choose Crystal as your character.
Start the fight and lock on to the other mech (press
). You then need to get your and the other character to less than 10% health.
Keep a little distance, then do her freezing special attack (hold
and press 
) immediately afterwards use her ultra attack (+
). She will swing her hammer around. Don't accidentally hit the enemy with it! You're supposed to throw the hammer. Press once more + to throw it at the enemy. If he is still frozen (which only lasts 3 seconds or so) and dies from the hit, you'll get the achievement.
