Xenotypes are the enemies in the main campaign only.
From the Main Menu, go to Arcade and then Story to fight them in the missions. I personally unlocked this achievement during my second run through the campaign. It popped mid-game before I finished the campaign (roughly halfway through it). Just keep going through the campaign missions until it pops.
