How to unlock the Colorful Wardrobe achievement in Override: Mech City Brawl - Definitive Guide

The Infected Skins are "Epic" Tier. These can be unlocked in one of 3 ways:

1. Beat the campaign with said mech
2. Random drop at the end of fight.
3. Purchased for 1,500 credits.

NOTE: Maestro and DLC characters like the Unicorn are not required.

By gaining all of the Infected skins, you'll earn another achievement as well. That being said, other than beating the campaigns, you may earn one of 3 others in random drops or can purchase them as well.

This achievement seems to be buggy now. I had epic skins for all mechs already, but the achievement hadn't popped. I still needed progress for other achievements though. The achievement popped when I unlocked a new skin, but it was a common.

Yes still buggy.
I had to back out of game, load a new game and come back to this for it to pop. Seems a reboot or game switch refreshes the Garage

Yes. I had to start another game. Then restart this game. Achievement then unlocked. Thanks for the tip

Same as above, didn't pop when I bought the last one I needed. Had to play a 2nd match because after the first one I got a duplicate item. It popped when I unlocked a new skin on the 2nd match.

Just giving the update that this is indeed still buggy. Once I got the requirements I closed the game and restarted it. Once I signed in the achievement pop. Thumbs up on the guide.

That means you need Gold, a lot of it. So keep these cheevos for last.
Once you've grinded your 50 online wins and 500 Xenotype kills (takes about 2 campaign playthroughs) and done the other misc achievements, the real grind begins. You've surely noticed that you unlock one skin or accessory for every completed match. If you already own it, you get money as compensation.

Active grinding method (2 controllers):
Select Versus Mode, use a 2nd controller, go to match settings (cn_back), select Free For All mode, Health Multiplier 0.5.
Select any characters and fight. Using RT is probably the quickest way to defeat the other mech. Once the match has ended, you can immediately initiate a rematch.
Takes about 40 seconds per match (loading included).

Semi-active grinding method (1 controller):
Select Versus Mode, go to match settings (cn_back), select Teams mode, Health Multiplier 0.5, Time Limit 1 Minute.
Select any character for yourself, then add three bots. You want it to be a 1 vs. 3 match, so change the bots' team and their difficulty to hardest. Start the match and let them finish you. Hit rematch once you're down.
Also takes about 40 seconds seconds per match (loading included).

Check your earned money and unlocked skins/accessories every now and then and keep track how much gold you need for the most time consuming of these achievements (probably the unlocking all accessories one). This is obviously unique for everyone since the drops are random. Once you have accumulated enough gold to unlock said achievement, the real trick begins.

Save game trick:
1) You need your game to be saved to the cloud. To make sure that happens, close the game after you have the required amount of gold. Wait 20 min or so to be safe.
2) Start up the game, go to the garage, choose one of the achievements above to unlock by fulfilling its requirement. The achievement will not pop, but don't worry. Back out of the Garage. Back on the main menu, press Pick Profile. Press A to start the game and select your profile. The achievement will pop!
3) Hit the dashboard (cn_guide) highlight "Override" and press cn_start but don't quit out of the game!
Select "Manage game & add-ons", go down to "Saved data", go to your save game and press A on it. Select "Delete from console".
4) Start up Override again. Select your profile, the game will now get the save game from the cloud. Go to the Garage and congratulations, you will still have the same amount of gold.
Repeat from step 2) to get the other achievements.
