During an Online Match (And yes you can boost with friends by just inviting them to a battle)
Using Vintage, get at least one bar of energy and use X and LT to place a beacon, then use it again to teleport to said beacon. If boosting, have your partner use Watchbot. Hit Watchbot until he has his Ult pending, Have him lock onto you, place your beacon, have him un-lock from you, step aside, let him use his ult (he'll be firing at your beacon) and just use the ability to teleport into it.
