After reading the details of the achievement prior to playing. I got this on my first attempt with Junker Queen. I walked up to a torb and threw my knife which started to cause a shock effect. Then I pulled my knife back to me which also pulled in torb to where I then used jagged blade for the final blow and walked behind a corner so the torb died to blood loss. The icon showed in the kill feed was the blade Icon. Then after the match had ended I received the achievement before getting booted to the main screen.

i got the achievement when i pulled someone to me but my teammate took the kill, still unlocked tho

I'm not sure what happened but I didn't get the achievement despite doing it right. I threw the knife and pulled the enemy towards me with it, then immediately killed them with the carnage ability.

I used my knife and threw it at a D.va without mech and pulled her to my location recalling the knife then hit her with the 
skill and the achievement popped. Like the other solution I was kicked out of the match right when unlocking it so before the patch achievements may kick you out of matches.
