How to unlock the Four They Were achievement in Overwatch 2 - Definitive Guide
Junkenstein Revenge is only available during the Halloween Terror event
Junkenstein's Revenge has four difficulties: Normal, Hard, Expert, and Legendary. Any difficulty can be played to earn this achievement, so play on normal if you're having trouble with a particular hero.
Below I have listed enemies' behavior and short guides on the 4 original heroes. It doesn't have to be strictly followed, but it could help. Timers for enemy spawns are listed last.
This can be decided by random luck if you decide to play with randoms. If you are having trouble with randoms and don't know anyone who owns Overwatch, create a boosting session here on TrueAchievements.
Here's a video of me beating Hard with randoms with the 4 original heroes in the original Overwatch (nothing has changed aside from hero balances)

Common Enemies
Common enemies are the horde in horde-type game modes. They are easily defeated alone, but when in a group (horde) they can easily overwhelm the players and take the objective.Bosses
These bosses are modeled after the heroes of Overwatch and share the abilities of their counterparts, but have a huge health pool. Their damage appears to be the same, if not a bit weaker, with the excepting of Mercy's healing.Timer

Thanks for this, I was struggling on normal. Didn't know this could be done on easy, is this the only easy mode achievement?

Yes, the other ones specially say either medium or hard in their achievement descriptions.

Posting a solution with the current Spawn Timers for Junkenstein's Revenge. The other solutions have good strategies to follow, but as they were posted prior to the addition of The Summoner the spawn timers may not be correct.
Here are the current spawn timers:
8:00 Mission Start
6:51 Tire (Random)
6:33 Tire (Random)
5:48 The Reaper
4:54 Tire (Random)
4:39 Tire (Random)
4:25 Tire (Random)
3:53 Junkenstein's Monster
3:24 Tire (Random)
2:52 The Summoner
2:36 Tire (Right)
1:52 Dr. Junkenstein
1:36 The Reaper
0:49 Tire (Left)
0:47 Tire (Right)
0:33 The Reaper
0:25 Tire (Center)
0:00 The Witch, Dr. Junkenstein, Junkenstein's Monster
Last Boss Dies -> Victory
Things to note:

Things to note:
- The timers are the same no matter the difficulty selected. The Summoner spawns in the final wave on Legendary.
- The time given is when the audio cue is initiated. There may be a few seconds before the enemy is fully spawned and able to be damaged.
- For the random tire spawns, listen for the call-outs by the heroes. They will say "ramparts" or "left" for a left spawn, "center" "right at you" or "bridge" for a center spawn, or "right" for the right spawn.
- There is no tracker in-game to let you know which heroes you have used. The player must track manually.
- Can be performed in Junkenstein's Revenge or any of the Halloween Challenge Missions.
- Can be performed on any difficulty.
- You must be victorious in your run for the hero to count.
