Hello and welcome to PBreezey's guide for the Overwatch Achievement "Level 10"
To get this achievement you must (SPOILER ALERT) hit level 10.
To level up, you need experience. How is how you earn experience in Overwatch:
- You receive 4.01 XP for each second you are active in a match.
- You will receive a bonus XP reward based on your highest medal earned. A Gold Medal is worth 150 XP, Silver is worth 100XP, and Bronze Medals only net you 50 XP. Medal rewards do not stack!
- 250 XP is rewarded if you stuck around until the very end of a match, win or lose.
- You get a bonus 250 XP if you win the match in question.
- You also receive a Consecutive Match Bonus (do not leave the lobby) at the end of the match of 200 XP
- 1500 XP for your first win of the day
- XP BONUS You get an XP bonus by playing in a group - 20%. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS! It realllly helps.
To hit level 10 you will need a TOTAL of: 62,500 XP
- Level 1 to 2 - 1500 XP
- Level 2 to 3 - 3000 XP
- Level 3 to 4 - 4500 XP
- Level 4 to 5 - 6000 XP
- Level 5 to 6 - 7500 XP
- Level 6 to 7 - 8500 XP
- Level 7 to 8 - 9500 XP
- Level 8 to 9 - 10,500 XP
- Level 9 to 10 - 11,500 XP
XP is a grind. Put in the time and you will eventually earn the achievement.

Currently I'm level 13 and this still hasn't popped (actually hit 10 on Monday night), I'm wondering if the 6 levels of exp I gained in brawls is screwing me.
I will update when/if it pops.

Yep I hit lvl 16 today hoping that would do it, my next hope is that lvl 25 pops both? :|

Well damn, I hit lvl 25 today and it still didn't pop. In game I have the spray associated with getting to level 10 and on playoverwatch.com it shows up as unlocked. So I'm guessing this is an Xbox issue and I will now be reporting it to them.
I will update when/if it pops.

Really? I just had the lvl 25 achievement pop for me yesterday. I haven't had any issues with achievements on this game so far. Hope it works for you.

Edit: 3/26/17 Just popped while playing and leveling to 231. Finally! =)
For anyone having trouble with this unlocking I opened a thread on Blizzard. At first I was thinking it was solely an Xbox issue but it appears at least one user on PS4 is having the same issue.

The funny thing is that Blizzard's support points to Microsoft while Microsoft points to game maker (Blizzard) in other words... S.O.L.
For anyone having trouble with this unlocking I opened a thread on Blizzard. At first I was thinking it was solely an Xbox issue but it appears at least one user on PS4 is having the same issue.

Yeah, it's yet to pop for me too. I haven't reached level 11 yet though, my fingers are crossed but I sincerely doubt it.

Yeah as you can see on the left there it still hasn't unlocked but I wanted to state that I've still been playing it (level 132) just as an update.

This achievement is earned just by playing the game and unlocking tiers of the seasonal battle pass.
(Note that even if you do not own the premium battle pass the tiers do count towards the achievement)
There are ways you can speed up the process of earning this achievement including playing in a group with at least 1 person, completing daily; weekly; seasonal; event and competitive challenges and purchasing the premium battle pass. There is also often a 2x boost applied to the experience towards each tier you unlock near the end of each season.
