How to unlock the Shocking Surprise achievement in Overwatch 2 - Definitive Guide
This achievement is quite hard. The team we got it with was McCree, Torbjörn, Zenyatta, and Brigitte
What to know: with each zombraider you kill, one ripe tire spawns. With each boss you kill, two ripe tires spawn.
Now, the roles:
Everyone: Any time, and I mean any time, you see a ripe tire, speak about where its at. Left, low left, middle, and right were the commands I used, but really as long as you can differentiate the possible locations you should be fine, just tell your team.
McCree: As opposed to the usual junkenstein strategy of standing on the left Bridge, stay towards the door, numbers are the key to taking out the rip tires. The ultimate charges quite fast, so don't be scared to use it, especially on road hog, symmetra, junkenstein, and mercy. Especially mercy, save your ult for the finale.
Torbjörn: Find a great placement for the turret, the far corner towards the door works. Use molten cores when rip tires are nearby the door and on any hero. Molten core charges tremendously fast.
Zenyatta: Discord rip tires and heroes as they come, prioritize the rip tires. Use the ultimate to counter road hogs ultimate and when everyone's health is low.
Brigitte: The main reason why Brigitte is vital is to lead the heroes away from the door. As discussed above, the heroes spawn two rip tires when they die. Killing heroes by the door is game over. It isn't too easy for Brigitte to lure the heroes away from the door, but if done, is the game changer. Thats the reason how we won, so certainly lure the heroes.

I'll add some information in regards to this since I was part of this team and general tips.
For Zen something you can do very easily every time is when reaper starts spawning charge your orbs so when he teleports to mid you can easily and quickly land some headshots and do a lot of dmg making him use his wraith right away or brigitte or mcree can stunt for more dps if you have no tires to worry aboot. This a more general tip that applies to every junkenstein mode, and anybody can aim for reapers head during that small gap so you can bolth do a lot of dmg and gain a decent amount of ult from the headshots.
Now on to Brigitte since that who I was during this run. My advice is that your ult is not needed too much since you have a zen ready so save it for when your luring and your low on health. You'll be able to hold your own agains any of the bosses by themselves if you lure them away. Reaper literally can't do enough dmg through your passive healing, Sym can eventually deal enough dmg to kill you so thats when you use your ult, and Roadhog can eventually kill you if he uses his ult but you should hopefully be able to kill him b4hand and the final encounter you can die easily if Junkrat targets you as well as the Roadhog so make sure to use it when you're low. Don't forget your stun ability for Sym to stop her from gaining increase dmg and roadhog to stop his healing and his ult if you can land it. The biggest thing when you successfully lure is to call out the boss health so the others are prepared for the tires to spawn and if need be torb to use his ult near the door for added security. In regards to luring the bosses it seems somewhat random who they'll focus on but I've had the most success when I go right to where they spawn and just swing away even b4 they officially spawn in and try to lure them to the left in the water since this give you at least 2 swings sometimes 3 on the boss tires b4 they get close to the door and it only takes 3 swings to destroy them with Brigitte. I'm sure there is logic to who they target like whose probly doing the most dmg to it, but if your teammates are doing more dmg you could try having them focus on zombradiers and their tires to clear the area b4 unloading on the bosses so you get their attention first. Obviously the benefit of luring the bosses away is to give ample time and room to kill the 2 tires that spawn but the second benefit is that if you can succefully lure the bosses away especially in the final encounter, no one will pay attention to Mcree as he's using high noon and he can 1 shot Mercy and Junkrat with ease plus do a ton of dmg to Roadhog.

Just did it with the team of Torb, Zen, Hanzo and Tracer. Hanzo and Tracer basically stood in for McCree and Brig, respectively.
Was with randoms and no voice chat, so just keep at it if struggling!

Posting a solution with the complete Spawn Timers for Junkenstein's Revenge. The other solutions have good strategies to follow.
The base spawns and difficulty for the Halloween Terror Challenge Missions are identical to an Expert Junkenstein's Revenge run.
The only difference is the variant for the particular challenge which in this case is:
A RIP-Tire spawns at the location a Blue Zomnic is killed.
2 RIP-Tires will spawn at the location a Boss is killed.
As you can control when the Blue Zomnics are killed you will want to have your teams coordinate and call out which blue Zomnic is being focused on. Players should move and kite the Bosses away from the door before killing them. McRee should maintain situational awareness of the position of the Blue Zomnics and Bosses when choosing to Ult.
This is likely one of the two more difficult of the 6 challenges.
Here are the current spawn timers:
8:00 Mission Start
6:51 Tire (Random)
6:33 Tire (Random)
5:48 The Reaper
4:54 Tire (Random)
4:39 Tire (Random)
4:25 Tire (Random)
3:53 Junkenstein's Monster
3:24 Tire (Random)
2:52 The Summoner
2:36 Tire (Right)
1:52 Dr. Junkenstein
1:36 The Reaper
0:49 Tire (Left)
0:47 Tire (Right)
0:33 The Reaper
0:25 Tire (Center)
0:00 The Witch, Dr. Junkenstein, Junkenstein's Monster
Last Boss Dies -> Victory
Things to note:
McReeCassidy, Torbjorn, Brigitte, Zenyatta
Although Torb is a staple for an optimal comp in Junkensteins Revenge, he's not recommended for this challenge due to the chances the turret will kill a blue Zomnic the players are not ready for. Substitute him with another DPS such as Genji, Hanzo, Tracer, Soldier: 76, or Widowmaker. Genji or Hanzo's ults will be more useful than Widowmakers for this run. Soldier: 76 needs to be careful with his ult.
This achievement stacks with and will unlock the following achievements if not previously earned:
Upon completion, the hero you played will count as one of the heroes needed for progress toward this achievement:

- The time given is when the audio cue is initiated. There may be a few seconds before the enemy is fully spawned and able to be damaged.
- For the random tire spawns, listen for the call-outs by the heroes. They will say "ramparts" or "left" for a left spawn, "center" or "bridge" for a center spawn, or "right" for the right spawn.

Myself @AWildCoopixe , my partner and my friend were trying to attain the Shocking Surprise achievement where we bumped into a random solo player from Iran. We decided to keep him on the team as he was a fantastic Zen player and team support. After 5 games we gained the achievement in this year's Halloween event, an achievement only 0.25% of the world Xbox community has; we are now part of that 0.25%.
Tips for other players looking to attain this achievement:
1. Team composition is vital
- Cassidy, Soldier, Torbjorn & Zen is THE correct players to have
- Cassidy's Ultimate is used to take out the bosses when needed
-Torbjorn's Ultimate is vital for applying constant damage to bosses and protecting the door from the shock tires when the bosses are defeated
-Soldier's Ultimate can be used to target the bosses in tandem with Torbjorn's Ultimate making light work of the bosses and Shock tires that spawn afterwards.
-Zen's Ultimate is extremely important, especially during the Summoner's appearance (Symmetra), due to her perfect aim and constant damage, she is the most difficult boss to face in this game mode. It is also important to note, due to Zen's knockback effect on his melee attack he can defend the door extremely well against the tires when they spawn from the bosses or blue zomnics.
2. Teamwork is key.
When aiming for this achievement I would recommend everybody has a mic and that you communicate effectively. When killing the blue zombadier zomnics, call it out and time them between the bosses and with the team to avoid getting overwhelmed and flustered. Patience and a calm demeanour are critical traits to maintain when attempting this achievement.
3. Use your ultimate's sparingly or at least wisely.
Many times I wasted my Ultimate (as Cassidy) when it was needed for the next boss, specifically Junkenstein's Monster, Junkenstein or the Witch at the end. Torbjorn's Ultimate can be used a fair amount of times, due to his turret he has a high damage output which in turn provides a rapid regeneration capability for his Ultimate meter.
