How to unlock the Smooth as Silk achievement in Overwatch 2 - Definitive Guide
One of the best places to do this achievement is on Temple of Anubis. You need to be the attacking team and going onto your second point for you to do what I did. I have a video linked below but I'll spell it out too. As your approaching the second point and trying to go through the arch way there is a set of statues. Use your zip line to get up the left most status and charge up your rifle. Keep it aimed and keep an eye on the enemy team as they duck in and out of your view. Slowly creep to the end of the platform (you get quite a bit of edge) and wait until someone is in your sights. I did this while being sniped at and in the video you'll notice I messed up once. Just keep trying. This is insanely luck driven but you'll get it with persistence. There are a ton of other points but this is where I got it.

Hey I've just unlocked the achievement in a very simple way no one reported so far, so here you go:
- map: Oasis (city center) - control mode
- where: jump pad on the sideway
- how: as soon as the game starts, run to the jump pad. Simply position yourself on the jump pad in such a way you will keep jumping without moving away from it. In this way you will be constantly airborne. When you reach the maximum height of the jump, you can shoot the people inside the control area. If you are not lucky in this way, just wait there. Sooner or later the enemies will spot you and someone will come looking for you. When they take the jump pad, they will find themselves defenceless on the walkways. Just shoot them in the head and the achievement will pop.
- tips#1: there is a large health pack just below, close to the jump pad, just in case something goes wrong...
- tips#2: place the mine at the entrance of the elevator, so that you will know someone is coming when you see the trap triggered. Moreover, this will confuse the incoming enemy, making the shot even easier

Watched your video. Entered Quickplay. Was placed on Temple of Anubis (Attacking). Got on my second try of falling from height. Couldn't have gone any easier really...

I was able to get his achievement to unlock simply scoping in, letting the shot charge to full, lining up a head shot, and then the really hard part... Just hitting the jump button at the EXACT same time I fired. Seriously, thats all I had to do. I dont know if its a sure thing or if your timing has to be exact, but I got it on literally my first try with this method. Maybe I just got kicky, but so far this has been the easiest achievement ive unlocked for overwatch next to "The Friend Zone" hope this helps you guys, let me know your results in the comments so others can see this works in case they don't believe it.

exactly what I did. I was on the map that had point B inside a Dojo, and I snuck up on another Widowmaker who was too busy sniping someone at the control point to notice me. Got her by scoping and jumping just at the right moment.

Worked like a charm. Got it on a Torbjorn working on a turret.

Edit 1: It looks like by the PC patch notes on 14/06/2016 that you may not be able to do it this method 'Players must now wait for the unscoping animation to completely finish before scoping' so if you are trying to do it this way, get your skates on
Edit 2: It appears as though you can still do it this way, but if someone can confirm?
I know there are a few guides for this already, but my method for obtaining this is way easier...
Just jump! simple... OK sure, when you jump you scope out, but if you jump again immediately after, you scope in while jumping the second time.
So just hold the scope button then jump, jump, fire
Easy :) good luck.
Edit: Since the guide was getting downvotes i can only assume people didnt quite understand what i mean by my description so here is a video of the move.

I don't understand why you are getting down votes either. This is by far the easiest solution. I tried the falling off method others have stated for an hour and couldnt get it. I got this in the first 30 seconds of the first match I tried it in with this method.

Ok, I've seen a lot of people reccomend Temple of Anubis however I have a better solution to get this achievement. Pick Widow if you are going to play on Horizon lunar Colony. Stay outside and try to lure someone outside. All you need to do then it to jump and aim. It gives you plenty of time to get a fully scoped headshot. This is the way I got it and let me say, its a lot easier than doing it anywhere else.
I found the easiest way to complete this achievement is to grapple up to a high spot and walk off of the edge and shoot. Aim your scope a little over the players head and as you fall pull the trigger. If you've aimed properly the shot should nail them in the head. I got lucky on the map I was playing and hit a Torbjorn who was working on setting up a turret. Here is the video. It took me about 5 tries on a single map to finally get someone. The last 2 attempts are in the video.

Another great place to get this is in Gibraltar, starting the match as attack team... Here is a video showing how i'm got it just starting the match

The trophy is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. It is not necessary to jump from anywhere, it is enough to jump on the spot at the moment of the shot. (i.e. while aiming at 100% charge, simultaneously press “X” + “L2”). When the bullet hits the target, you will be in the air and receive the trophy.

I recommend changing the jump button from "x" to for example(the mine can be moved to "x"). Aim at the head, immediately press and R2(jump and shoot). I managed to knock out the trophy 5 times, the main thing is to hit the head

We jump down in sight and try to shoot at the head; in my opinion, the easiest way is to hit Bastion, because he is often motionless.
