How to unlock the Strike achievement in Overwatch 2 - Definitive Guide

Hammond, also known as Wrecking Ball, is officially out which means his achievements are ready to be unlocked! His Strike achievement / trophy will require the use of his (LT) Grappling Claw to build momentum and, once at full speed, roll or knock into at least 4 enemies within two seconds.

There are two basic strategies for accomplishing this:
1) Hook onto an archway or corner of a building and swing until you have enough momentum, then release your hook and roll into enemies.
2) Hook onto a central point and swing around continuously, without releasing your hook, until you've hit enough enemies.

Each strategy has its pros and cons, but the second seems slightly easier although it is map dependent. Good luck! smile

CyanDeadEye, definitely a good point! I'd thought about mentioning that, but there's so many situations where the area around the payload is too narrow or whatnot. I've seen people do similar at the end of King's Row. I'm impressed you got it on WP-G!

Nepal: Shrine on Control is perfect for this. Wait until the enemy get in the point, roll up the stairs, connect to the central column and spin like mad!

Just something to add to the second strategy: Swinging around a central point can still be applied to payload gametypes as the hook can attach to the payload (though you'll have to find the sweet spot since they're all shaped slightly different). This is especially useful on Defense as the enemy team is more likely to group together on a final push towards checkpoints or final points to get the payload those last few couple of inches.

Managed to get my 4+ on Watchpoint: Gibraltar during the final push on the third point on Defense.

There are multiple ways to get this and I'm sure different versions will come out as time goes on. This is just an account of how I got it. I would find a map with a pole, pillar, car. Latch on and start to swing round and round to build momentum. Once you hear the mech say "full/max speed" you have enough momentum. Then just slingshot into a group of enemies and hit four to get the achievement.

I got mine on Lijiang Tower on the map that's indoors with the giant pillar on the point. Did the exact strategy above, right as they rushed the point at the end of the game and I actually nailed five of them.

Good luck and Happy Hunting!

Far the easiest place to set this up is Nepal - Sanctum, after the enemy team was wiped. The majority of the teams walk back straight from the spawn to the choke entrance to poke. Just grapple the top of the big archway and let it go halfway.

I got mine on Lijiang Tower as well. All of the enemy team came across the bridge so I just grappled on the wall and swung around. Even knocked a couple off the map :)

Got mine on King's Row. The whole enemy team was grouped up at the choke point, so I rolled to the structure right in front of the point and just swung around like a monkey on meth. Hit 5 of them at least.

Got this to pop for me on Nepal Shrine has to be one of the easiest places.. just used the grapple to do laps around the point as the match first started.

The trophy is achieved by using the "Cat" skill. It is best to hook your hook onto some pillar and roll around it, demolishing everything around you.

I knocked out a trophy on the Hanamura map, we just cling to the bell at the first point and circle around it.
