How to unlock the Survival Expert achievement in Overwatch 2 - Definitive Guide
I ended up doing this with D. Va. I found she worked well as her abilities can help get her away from trouble and to the health packs. Her mech has a lot of health, and with her auto ejection you may be able to save yourself from death. She is very squishy once out of her mech, so be careful.
Alternatively I thought you might be able to sit next to a healthpack as someone who can deal damage to themselves (Pharrah, or junkrat) and keep grabbing a health pack in an area of the map that will be away from attackers. But apparently you don't get credit for healing damage you dealt to yourself. Thanks to dubaitaib for checking into that.

I think that Pharah's method does not work. I tried yesterday and I clearly use health packs to heal over 900 health but the cheevo wouldnt pop up.

K. Thanks for the input on that. Like I said, I got it legitimately, and only thought that may be an alternative method after I already unlocked it.

A good idea is to play as a tank as they have more health so you can just get to a ranged spot, get hurt, and retreat to find health packs.
Just wanted to share how I unlocked this ach
Used Roadhog and just stuck to a certain path in Temple of Anubis. Ill link the video below
One of the reason I chose Roadhog, is because of his Healing ability. I just ran around this path killing enemies and picking up health packs along the way.
There are a total of 2 health packs in this area.
Good luck.
Feel free to PM me for questions.

I feel this achievement is just based off luck, skill, and timing. I got this achievement playing on Hanamura on Defense as Mercy. Inside the building where "Point B" is, there is a very small room with a healing pod. I stood there and healed my teammates, while being hit. Whenever I couldn't heal anyone, I would retreat into the room with the healing pod, and would heal myself there. I got lucky, and no one saw me, so I was able to get this achievement simply in about 5 minutes, once the opposing team reached "Point B". Hope this tip can help whoever is trying to get this achievement! ;)
Winston is great for survivability for this achievement. I played him on Kings Row on defense, and took damage and hopped away to a health pack, rinsing and repeating until I got the achievement.
His jump pack makes it easier to evade gunfire from enemies. Hopefully this is a helpful suggestion!

well, the easiest way to unlock this achievement is by using the Shadow so follow the steps below
1° you need find a medkit, when you find it, hack him
2° place your teleport inside/nerby the medkit
3° rush in your enemies and take hit, just be careful not to die otherwise the achievement will restart
4° repeat steps 2 and 3 until you get the achievement
PS: I also unlocked the achievements Hack the Planet and Power Outage, if you are wanting to do these 2 too feel free to try, they are pretty easy
well this was my guide for this achievement, i hope i helped you ;)

This is a rather frustrating achievement for new players as it requires not only knowledge as to the locations of health packs around the map but also careful planning of fights to ensure survival and the ability to escape. The best hero to use for this achievement would be Roadhog as his ‘Take a Breather’ ability increases the healing he gains by 50% for 2.5 seconds after usage (as of 14/08/2023).
For memorization of health pack locations I would recommend either starting a private custom game to investigate the maps or using this website:
https://overwatch.statbanana.com/ ;for top down views of clearly marked in game maps (bear in mind this site was made for overwatch 1 so certain maps displayed are no longer in circulation).

We wait for the moment when the enemy places a turret, let ourselves be damaged, after which we look for a first aid kit, wait for it to recover and get a new one.

It’s easier to take a farra or a rat, shoot at your feet and then heal.

The character Zarya is well suited for this. She has an orb of invulnerability and 400 hit points. The rest is the same as in the first tip.
