OVERWHELM

For this achievement, after defeating 4 of the 5 bosses, whichever Boss you leave for last will be the one where you fight it's ultimate form. You have the freedom to choose which order to fight the bosses, but this is the order I think is the most efficient (from hardest to easy):

Order of Bosses to fight
1. Kraken (Bottom right)
2. Lizards (Top right)
3. Worm (Bottom middle)
4. Skullbat (Top left)
5. Bush Spider (Bottom left) - Easiest to fight for it's ultimate form.

I highly suggest fighting the Bush Spider last as it is the easiest out of all the bosses. Here's my guide on the Bush Spider to help you through the fight.


As soon as you defeat the 5th boss, the achievement will pop!

Each time you defeat a boss "The Hive Evolves". From what I've gathered this just means a new variation of fodder enemies pops up but bosses might be slightly harder to defeat as well. Since the game is open world you can leave whichever boss you feel is easiest for the end, I personally found Bush Spider and Skullbat to be the easiest bosses so I would recommend them. This achievement unlocks after you defeat the final boss you need and nab the last crystal.

Prior to starting the game make sure you throw on all of the assist options as they do NOT disable achievements. You can find these under Options->Difficulty
