How to unlock the Oops... achievement in Owlboy - Definitive Guide

You can get this early in the game as soon as you can pick up Geddy. Put him down near a wall and then hammer on the spin button 1000 times or turn on your rapid fire controller and go get something to drink.

Dude...These are the worst kinds of Achievements.

I'm gullible and dweeby enough to do something maybe a hundred times over-and-over, but a thousands times is just... Urgh. Could the developer not think of any other 'chievo ideas? : c

Pretty straight forward, you need to use the square button to hit Geddy 1000 times. Once you unlock the ability to teleport him back you should be able to spam square and triangle repeatedly to get this trophy pretty quickly.

This is a miserable requirement but I think it took less time than I anticipated to unlock. I think less than 15 minutes.

The fastest technique seems to be to hop in the air, switch to Geddy, then alternate between pressing cn_X then cn_Y over an over. cn_X does a spin move and cn_Y teleports Geddy back to you. I wasn't sure if the game was counting these spins towards my progress but thankfully it popped.

You can also use the keyboard instead of the gamepad by pressing 'R' to teleport and left mouse click to spin. This may be more comfortable for you.

I did it in like 5 minutes by having Geddy in a corner (I did it in the hot spring) and then keep attacking him with the spin move.

For this trophy, you need to hit Geddy with 1000 times, You will sometimes hit him naturally during your game, but not nearly enough for this trophy. Find an area with a wall and throw him near that wall, then beat him with and he will bounce against the wall. Keep spamming until the trophy pops.
