This sucks. Just awful. The fact that guides are non existet makes this even worse.
Luckily, there are a few tricks that makes this .2% easier.
Theses tips are for Area 6, but you may be able to implement them in other Areas.
1) Pynnokyr's STRATEGY MAY NOT WORK FOR MOST OF THE LEVELS!!!
His strategy might work, but it is not very reliable and my next tips make are actually easier.
2) EAT ALL OF THE DOTS!!!/NEVER DIE!!!
Eating dots stats a dot chain. Unfortunately, the chain maxes out at 500 dots. What this means is that you get 500 points per dot you eat. The ONLY way the chain can be broken is if you complete a board with dots still on it or if you die. Once you complete a board, any remaining dots is subtracted from your dot chain. If you die, the dot chain goes to zero. Its ok if you forget a dot or two, but for every 2 dots you miss, that's 1,000 points. Just go through the boards using the path the game guides you though. There are expectations though, sometimes its better to just wake up the sleeping ghosts first if it saves time BUT ONLY if you can capture the missed dots easily while eating the ghosts. Keep in mind that exception will only be used once or twice a level.
Dots can be disregarded if you know you are on the last possible board you can reach. Eating all of the dots per board will only allow you enough time to reach a certain board. This is what I mean by the last board. You should have about 35 seconds left. Just grab the sleeping ghosts and eat them.
3)PAUSE THE GAME WHILE EATING GHOSTS
I'm not sure how well known this is, but it is very helpful. Once you eat the power pellet, pause the game and look to see where you can cut a ghost off. You may have to know where the lines are at as well as pay attention to where the ghosts are at BEFORE pausing. There will be a large menu in the center, and the screen will be blurry. Why is this useful then? It is useful to give you a second to think. It is not possible to be completely aware of the four ghosts locations at the same time. It's hard to really explain why this works, but it does. You will find so many more opportunities and save so much time. Keep in mind, the ghosts are fucking cheaters! They will not follow the paths one hundred percent of the time. It seems to happen most when they run into each other.
Keep in mind, there will be variations to the strategy. Its good to keep track of our score you have at what time to judge weather you are on track or not. Again, the score per time changes from level to level, but just try to save some time by restarting if you are not on track.

You basically need an s rank. Have you done that yet in time attack?

Allow me to explain my strategy as a top 50 scorer. Most of area 6 is a time attack based on the mazes from Championship mode in Multi-Train mode. The best thing to do is to practice. The better you get at these mazes, the better you'll perform in the time attack. Remember, to take on the boss, you'll need to beat the pro-level time on ALL the stages. Here are my tips for getting those Pro times:
1. 500 is the big priority. The first thing you should do is clear mazes of all dots until you reach 500. Maintaining 401-500 is key to doing well. This also means you don't want to die as the loss in score and time will decimate your attempt.
2. Get the largest ghost trains possible. Keep an eye on where ghosts you wake go, if they turn into eyes and leap off, the trains are full and it's time to go for the kill. Remember that ghost trains generally follow the rails shown on screen, so use those as a guide. By making the largest possible ghost trains, you maximize the points you earn from ghosts.
3. Try to clear mazes with power pellets. This is a huge time saver. Remember that when you get a gobblefest, you will return to just above the fruit. By clearing out the pac-dots while prepping and eating ghosts, you can guarantee the fruit will appear when you do a gobblefest. This is especially useful once your mazes are in the double digits and you have to clear all the pac-dots to make the fruit appear anyway.
Keep trying! I know it's hard, but the feeling of triumph you'll get when you unlock and beat the final boss will be well worth it.

Video of the passage of zones 6-1, 6-2, 6-4, 6-5, 6-6, 6-8, 6-9, 6-11, 6-12, and 6-13. They clearly show where you should eat all the Pac-Dots, and where you can neglect it. And in general, a clear example of how to act in order to accumulate 5,000,000 points.
