Souls are the green or red balls of Aura that you can collect from fallen enemies. This level has a lot of enemies for the killing, so you shouldn't have too much trouble. The only advice that can really be given, is to kill a few enemies and then wait for the soul to appear so you can collect it.
Obviously the soul disappears after a short time, so try and be quick when it comes to collecting them. There are A LOT of enemies however, so it shouldn't be too hard even if you miss a substantial amount.
One more thing I will mention, is that this achievement HAS to be done on the level "Opera House" which is the first mission in Chapter 2. You will recognise it when you start off in the back alley and have to jump into a basement with a huge furnace and some crawly dudes.

yeah can confirm you can use the above as thats what I did.

Additionally, the alt-fire of the saw blade weapon, that green beam, can lock onto free souls. A short zap will make the souls come to you, in case you're having trouble with enemies being flung away from you.
