How to unlock the Caught 10 different types of Pals achievement in Palworld - Definitive Guide

Pretty self explanatory, just capture or hatch (thank you angelicdevil88) 10 different pals. Reason I wanted to write a guide is to warn anyone playing co-op with friends. At the time of writing, only the host will unlock PAL capturing achievements. I captured over 20 different pals on my friends world but didn't unlock the achievement, but he did.

Edit - As of 2nd Feb 2024 it looks like you can now unlock PAL capture achievements on other players worlds.

if you hatch pals using the eggs you find around the map using the incubator this also counts to (if you havent already got the pal :) ) you can unlock the incubator at lvl 7 technology

That's annoying, especially since I've had better luck finding more species when exploring with friends then on my own.

I can confirm this doesnt unlock on co-op.

Just started fresh on my friends world and i captured 10+ PALS and no achievement.

The boss kill achievements however DO unlock in Co-Op.
