How to unlock the Champion of the Palpagos Islands achievement in Palworld - Definitive Guide

Edit: The new update, v0.3.4 has fixed achievement unlocks for Palworld. This should unlock when the requirements are met or retroactively if you have already completed them prior to the update!
*As of 6/28, this achievement is bugged and may or may not unlock when the requirements are fulfilled. Hopefully the next patch fixes this. *

To get this achievement, you have to defeat 6 tower bosses on hard. Due to the wording, I thought in theory you could defeat the same boss 6 times on hard. I tested this by defeating one of the bosses twice and 4 others to see if it's just for beating 6 tower bosses, or 6 unique bosses... but my achievement didn't unlock when it should have so I'm unsure if this works. If someone tests it successfully, please leave a comment to confirm!

Before being able to challenge the tower bosses on hard, you must have defeated the new boss, Saya and Selyne. Defeating them unlocks the ability to challenge the towers in hard mode and the following achievement:
PalworldBlossom SovereignThe Blossom Sovereign achievement in Palworld worth 260 pointsDefeated Saya and Selyne

Below I will list some stats about each boss, my build for attacking them, as well as some tips/advice. All the boss fights are based on fighting them SOLO. If you fight them in multiplayer, they get increased health. With 2 players, each boss had about 200,000 more health than I listed below. I'm not sure if this scales with even more players or not.
Also, my gear and strategy might not be the best one out there, but it worked for me so I'm sharing in hopes it helps you!

Recommended World Settings
Damage from pals multiplier 0.1
Damage to pals multiplier 5
Pal auto health regeneration rate 5
Damage from player multiplier 5
Damage to player multiplier 0.1
Player stamina reduction rate 0.1
Player auto health regeneration rate 5
Using these settings will make it so you don't die immediately and can kill the bosses a lot easier. I personally didn't always use my Pals to fight, but they are handy in maintaining aggro or for type effectiveness damage. If you choose to not use these settings, then you will most likely need much better armor, the best weapon available, and a ton more ammo... but why make it harder on yourself than need be?

My Gear:
It's not necessary to use the newest, best gear however doing so will make this go a little quicker. If you have limited plasteel, I'd recommend getting the Gatling Gun first, as this does good damage to the bosses and saves time on reloading. Just know it takes some time and a lot of resources to build up your supply.

I was level 55 and defeated each boss with the following:
Heat Resistant Pal Metal Armor
Pal Metal Helm
Giga Shield
Assault Rifle, Rocket Launcher, and Pump Shotgun

If you don't have the rocket launcher, that's ok it'll just take more AR and shotgun ammo. I only used the rocket launcher since I got 80 rockets from my chest on the oil rig laugh
Make sure before each boss fight your weapons are at max durability. You shouldn't have an issue with the assault rifle, but the shotgun breaks quickly. You can fix them on a repair bench.
Also, if you don't feel like gathering the supplies to make your ammo and have gold to spend, you can buy Assault rifle and shotgun ammo at Duneshelter located at 357,346.

Zoe and Grizzbolt have 366,00 health and can be found at the Tower of the Rayne Syndicate at 111, -431
They spawn with a level 55 Syndicate Crusher wielding a gatling gun. This can do some serious damage even with custom world settings, so I recommend immediately rolling to one of the sides and using a pillar as cover. Peek out and get headshots on the crusher with your weapons to kill him first, then focus all fire on Zoe and Grizzbolt.
I ended up using 306 Assault rifle ammo to defeat this boss.

Lily and Lyleen has 380,000 health and can be found at the Tower of the Free Pal Alliance at 182, 30
They spawn with 2 level 55 free pal alliance devouts wielding crossbows. Deal with them first, then focus fire on the boss. She is really weak to fire, so fire pals will really help. I'm not sure if this was a bug, but I did enough damage to finish off the boss and they immediately recovered all their health the second time I fought them, so if that happens to you expect to double the ammo needed.
I entered the fight with 36 rockets, 1,561 Assault rifle ammo, and 277 pump shotgun rounds.
I used 6 rockets, 38 AR rounds and 31 shotgun rounds.

Marcus and Faleris has 352,500 health and can be found at the Tower of the PIDF at 557, 335
They spawn with 10 PIDF soldiers in a row in front of you. I personally shot one rocket at the ground and killed most of them in one shot, but picking them off one by one is fine too. I'd recommend using the pillars as cover just in case.
I used 6 rockets and 123 Assault rifle ammo to defeat this boss.

Axel and Orserk has 352,500 health and can be found at the Tower of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre at -588, -519
They spawn with 2 level 55 electric pals. They should die no problem, then focus fire on the boss. He was one of the easiest bosses to me since he didn't move that much and their help wasn't very helpful at all.
I used 163 Assault rifle ammo and 8 rockets to defeat this boss.

Victor and Shadowbeak has 407,500 health and can be found at the Tower of the PAL Genetic Research Unit at -147, 447.
They don't spawn with any extra units, but once their health is below half, they will spawn a clone of themselves. Don't worry about the newly spawned clone and continue firing on the original Victor and Shadowbeak. You'll know it's the right one because the large boss health bar will go down. When they are defeated, the clone will automatically go away as well.
I used 15 rockets and 60 assault rifle to defeat this boss.

Saya and Selyne has 522,000 health and can be found at the Moonflower Tower at -596, 205.
They spawn with 3 level 55 enemies: 2 Moonflower genin and 1 Moonflower jonin. They spawn behind you so immediately turn around and deal with them first.
At about 185,000 health, they will spawn 2 level 55 Selyne's to fight you as well. I personally defeated them as soon as they spawned to limit the chaos and threat. Then continue to fire upon the boss until they are defeated.
I forgot to record how much ammo I used, but I entered the fight with 1,051 Assault rifle ammo, 246 pump shotgun ammo, and 22 rockets and was able to defeat her.

After you defeat each tower boss on hard you will get a new hat for each and then hopefully your achievement!

Im new and want to save myself hours of life. Am I able to play the game on easy and convert to hard just for these boss battles? How does playing on custom settings count as hard difficulty??

From what I understand, beating them on Hard Mode is something you choose AT the battle yourself. You have to beat all 6 bosses and then you can return to them and there should be a "Hard Mode" option. That allows you to play on custom settings but still do the battles on hard.

After you beat the new boss, Saya and Selyne, you unlock the ability to challenge the tower bosses on hard mode. When you go to challenge the tower, you hit “y” button to start it in hard mode.

There is no conventional difficulty setting for the whole game. So you can use custom settings no problem.

Makes a lot more sense when you play it yourself, I promise!

I play Yugioh and my brain did the same logic as the wording would allow you to just fight zoe and Grizzbolt 6 times but I guess not XD, good to know you can still use custom world settings for this as even with everything set to normal settings damage the final fight was absurd solo that I HAD to change the settings, the time limit is the worst part I think but good to know

Currently, it can be confirmed that changing the game settings will cause errors. I haven't changed the settings since the game update, but I am still in custom mode, and achievements such as Seized the Oil Rig and Caught a Frostallion can be unlocked normally. When I attacked Saya and Selyne, I changed the attack and damage multipliers, and then the current error occurred - all achievements that have not yet been unlocked cannot be unlocked. Restoring the settings still does not unlock them, and I can only wait for an official fix.

Worthy of noting;

High level gear requires Palsteel, Palsteel needs Crude Oil to craft, this can be farmed from Kikit's on the sandy shores of Sakurajima, simultaneously you can also go into the world setting before loading into your world and turn the Supply/Meteor drops from 180 seconds to 1 second.

Supply drops have permanent stat boost potions for your character, stamina, carry capacity, attack etc, but also come with around 20-30 crude oil in them.

Be sure to take everything (just dump the bits you don't need) so the supply drop disappears and makes way for another one. Same applies for Meteors, clear them so they disappear off the map.

It can also be a meteor spawn though just be aware, and the 1 second timer isn't actually 1 second unfortunately but it is a lot faster than on the default setting, it's more like 20 depending on your clear speed.

There are no normal difficulty settings for the entire game. So you can use custom settings without problems.
