Pretty straight forward, download "Virulent Strain" from the shop, go to the same tab where you choose the difficulty, make sure you're on "very easy", and change the challenge option to "virulent strain".
Enter a solo game with a researcher and scientist.
Pretty much just stay on the Atlanta space with both characters, trading cards from researcher to scientist to make sets of four with the scientist and cure the diseases as you do.
You should win this more times than you lose (you have to get really dodgy luck on card draws to fail). Repeat ten times and this will unlock.

Does this count for 100 wins from the main list?

I think so, but I'm not 100% sure. The pandemic god achievement just says win 100 games but doesn't specify the mode so all wins should count towards this achievement...
