How to unlock the Up to the Challenge achievement in Pandemic: The Board Game - Definitive Guide

This add on a free download from within the game. On the main menu, there will be an option at the bottom called “Shop”. Click on this and download the item called “Virulent Strain”
Once downloaded, again on the main menu scroll to the right where the difficulty normally is. Next to this will now have a item called “Challenge: Virulent Strain” enable this. Then you can use the lowest difficulty and win a solo game and the achievement is yours.
The only difference with this challenge included is that one of the diseases is out of control. As long as you play on the lowest difficulty, you should have no issue with using just the Scientist and Researcher.
