How to unlock the Ancestral Power achievement in Path of Exile - Definitive Guide

General
You can grab this Achievement very quick if you Level as a Templar to Level 16.
/edit mention from hudd2000: You can do this with Level 14 if you do the Side Quests Dweller of the Deep and Marooned Mariner, which grant one Book of Skill each.

As a Templar you get very early to the Keystone Passive Ancestral Bond located on the far end left on of the Passive Tree.

Lets Start
With Level 2 reached, take the Elemental Damage Node.
From then on take those six Intelligence Nodes, taking you to the Left and leading to Faith and Steel.
From there take the direct path to Ancestral Bond.

Pick up these Quest Rewards as you need them for your Achievement (you can buy them at Nessa after completing those Quests, if you took other Gems)

Quest: Breaking Some Eggs - Flame Totem
Quest: The Siren's Cadence - Searing Bond

When you hit Level 15 and assigned the Passive Ancestral Bond. Place two Flame Totem and one Searing Bond Totem. The Achievement should pop clap

Leveling Tips (my personal preference)
- After killing Hillock, take Lighting Tendrils and use a scepter/wand.
- Just run and eletrocute groups of mobs, no Single targeting
- No teleporting or going back to town before entering Cavern of Wrath
- If you're lucky grab some %-movement boots from Tarkleigh (small chance of selling them)
- Don't use a Body Armour = No movement speed penalty
- Have a Fire Trap Gem (throw Trap into group, finish off with Lighting Tendrils)
- see it as a speed run to level 15 smile

If you played this game before, you should be Level 15 in about 20-40min.

Have fun :)

Just something you should mention: to be able to get this at lvl 15, you gotta do the side quest Dweller of the Deep for the skill point book.

Uh my fault its 15 Nodes away, my bad math :D
Its Level 16 then, because you start at level 1, needing 15 points its Level 16 then. Or as you said. With dweller of the deep and/or Marooned Marineer. which gives us a Book of Skill each :)

This achievement is extremely easy to get especially if you have already finished Part 1 of the campaign.

all you need for this achievement is an item that has 2 linked red sockets, the "Multiple Totems Support" gem and any totem gem. with this combo you can have three totems at a time and you summon 2 at a time.

if you are a Witch, Marauder, or a Templar you can get these gems from Lilly Rothin Act 6 at Lioneye's Watch

For this achievement you need 3 totems up at once. You start with a limit of one totem at a time, and casting another just replaces the old one, and the limit is across all totem skills, so to get this you need to up the limit. Here's a list of ways to up the limit, courtesy of the wiki : https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Totem. That link also lists all the types of totems.

Selecting the Ancestral Bond keystone to gain +1 extra totem.
Equipping the Soul Mantle unique armor to gain +1 extra totem.
The Ascendant's Hierophant notable passive +1 extra totem for the totem socketed to your helmet.
The Hierophant's Ritual of Awakening notable passive to gain +2 extra totems.
Equipping the Iron Commander unique bow to gain +1 extra Siege Ballista Totem per 200 Dexterity.
Equipping the Skirmish unique quiver to gain +1 extra attack skill totem.
Equipping the Tukohama's Fortress unique shield to gain +1 extra totem.

So in order to get this achievement you need 2 of these things, which will allow you to place 3 totems. Note that some of them have requirements. Like Hierophant only works if the totem is slotted into a helm, and Iron Commander only ups the limit if you have enough dexterity.

As the wiki states, searing bond is supposed to allow you to go over the limit. I was able to get this with ancestral bond (for a totem limit of 2) and then used searing bond to have a 3rd totem up. Sighris stated he wasn't able to get over the limit with searing bond. After reading a bunch of threads it seems it only works this way with ancestral bond, and the hierophant passive if you put SB in a helm. SB doesn't seem to work with any oft he equipment that boosts the totem limit, and GGG said this is intended.

Guys this is really easy and fast to do....

Make a ranger, play through act one until you have to break the eggs for Nessa, in the Mud flats.
Break the eggs go to town collect your reward.

Collect Shrapnel Ballista now go out side town and spam that skill 3 times until you have 3 there with you...

ding chevo unlocked i did it at level 6

You can obtain this achievement by placing three totems from the Searing Bond Skill Gem. This skill creates totems that channels flame to and from each other.
