How to unlock the Unique Influence achievement in Path of Exile - Definitive Guide

An example of a unique jewel with a radius is the one I'm currently using called overwhelming odds which gives defense buffs to my main attack cleave. In order for a unique jewel to take effect though, you will need a certain amount of either strength, intelligence, or dexterity passive nodes around the jewel. Overwhelming odds, for example, has a requirement of 40 strength of nodes around the jewel. Bear in mind you won't actually see the radius of the jewel until you equip it!

Many unique jewels will be given as quest rewards but the unique jewels needed for this will say "Radius: (Small, Medium or Large)" and all that is required is to be equipped. If you're having trouble finding one of these jewels on your own, there are plenty on the market board.

Some unique gems have a radius of action, within which they affect the connected skills of the skill tree. Just activate the socket slot on the tree, insert such a gem there and the trophy is yours.

One such gem is given as part of the quest in Act 5. It won't be possible to miss it.
