How to unlock the Pup Treat Master achievement in PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls - Definitive Guide

Whenever you enter the Extras menu, the game tells you how many pup treats you earned out of the 30000 pup treats you need. Since the game doesn't show you your individual mission/minigame progress in the menus, it's a good idea to keep track of your progress on your own when the mission/minigame results screen appears. I used Google Sheets for mine. You can make your own, or use this template I made. Copy it to your sheets and it's yours.

Treats are earned by collecting them from Missions (8250) and Minigames (21750). I will tell you how many each individual mission and minigame will offer. You have to finish the mission/minigame for any treats to count. If someone gets them to count after quitting before mission end, let us know.

Main Missions (you need all treats from the level itself plus a gold medal from its vehicle section)

Minigames (you need all treats and/or gold medals)

If you have trouble getting all treats from the minigames, Micheyy suggests:
When you play the mini-games, wait for the countdown to end or you won't get all the pup treats : DO NOT PRESS A BUTTON. You will obtain the medals but not all the treats so it is impossible to know the "missing" mini games or missions.

BUT MartyFSM says
Skipping the countdown at the end has nothing to do it. I’ve done the first level and done the 3 boogies and am at 5500 on the counter which based on the info above is correct and I skipped all the counters.

Good set of info, thumbs up.
This game is defo downgrade from the last one. Cant believe they didn't show what medals/scores you got in each level like last game.

Yep, how do you make a cookie cutter game without leaving in the important stuff?

Agreed! The first was much easier to track and more fun honestly. This one is like a chore.

I was with 250 treats missed, so I replayed the 3rd level of all and the cheevos popped after doing again the 3rd level of City in Obstacles Race. Stupid game.

It's easy to lose track. You might have never played that level the first time.

@TheDude722: You might want to add that Chase's 3 vehicle mini game levels also require a certain time to get gold on them, as I ended up with all treats on one of them but ended it with a silver due to hitting too many signs.

Done. I guess I did well enough on those 3 that I didn't realize they depended on time. Thanks.

Also any situation apart from cutscenes where Skye, or Liberty are in or on their vehicles during main missions, those parts are timed as well and gold depends on getting to the end before the timer hits certain times, makes sense as those are timed in mini games, I almost forgot about this. I had to check with Lildude3107's video solution to confirm this.

Update: I've actually checked for Chase's timed time trials in the main missions using my Nintendo Switch's ability to play YouTube videos at double speed and it turns out that Chase's timed time trials aren't used for any main mission. Zuma's vehicle time trials also go unused in the story, and Zuma's swimming sections aren't even in the mini games menu, weird.
Mission 2 has one of Liberty's timed time trials and mission 3 has one of Skye's timed time trials.

Same issue for me, everything completed and within the time limit and I'm still somehow missing 950 pup treats. Shitty game.

If you look at the main missions, you can tell which ones you missed stuff in the vehicle segments if it says something like 500/500. 500/0 means you have all the vehicle treats

I am also stuck. I have 115 to go. Ive 100% each mission, even replaying them, I have all the Gold for the time trials, and fully completed all mini games. No clue where it could be. Would have been nice to show you your progress on each stage like past games.

I recommend retrying every mission with a time trial part in it like "Electrical Shutdown." The parts in the level itself are NOT the same as the time trials themselves that you can do separately. You have to get 100% on the time trials and then never miss any in all the mission that have the time trials in them.

I had to replay Vehicle Zuma Level 3. For some reason, my first attempt didn't stick and I was short 550 pup treats from where I should have been.

Also, small rant: I play on a 32" monitor and I can BARELY see the stupid little fish that Zuma hits repeatedly in the middle of the stage. It took me forever to even notice they were there at all. How is anybody expected to see them on a smaller screen?

Help needed. I have 29987 treats. Got mitigate master, Ace and all pup treats for every mission. Where could I be missing 13 treats? Any suggestions? My GT is Badgerfarts

@BadgerFarts and @Mikeyoj200 The only levels that it seems possible to get all gold medals and miss treats are the vehicle time trials based on times for gold. So Chase/Sky/liberty. Apparently the achievement for the mission "electrical shutdown" also can award without all treats for the flying section, so id try that one too.

I am 500 treats shy and have no clue. I replayed electrical shutdown and the minigames, still 500 short. This is beyond frustrating.

@DoomScott - same here, I was missing 115 treats until I read your comment and realized one mission related cheevo had popped automatically without actually earning it, for me it was Hyperloop Havoc, so I replayed that mission, where I was actually missing a few treats, and cheevo popped...thanks for the suggestion wink

Is there any way to skip to the vehicle sections in replays? I feel that 100% these is more dumb luck if you get a bad randomly generated level. And to do the whole level again for a section is a pain.

Finally finished this game tonight. nowhere near as enjoyable as the last one. I too had missing treats. It turned out that although I'd beaten the times on the vehicle time trials I hadn't collected all the treats so redid those and the score went up a little. I was still missing some though so went back to the missions and although I had the achievements I could see two missions were still green not gold meaning some treats were left so I redid those and got all the treats on the vehicle sections and I was done.

*Warning* The achievement for getting all the Pup Treats on the rescue mission "Electrical Shutdown" may unlock even if you did NOT collect all the pup treats and collectibles. Obviously this should not be the case and it has to do with the flying part at the end as Skye.

I was at 29990/30000 pup treats after getting all other achievements other than the one for getting all pup treats and for getting all achievements in the game. I could not figure out where the 10 I didn't get were from because I was taking notes the whole time. However, I then realized that the achievement for this level had randomly popped when I opened the game the second time a few days later and that all I needed to do was re-do this level.

Honestly, I think getting all the treats in the flying part of this level is the single hardest part of the game and I'm not going to lie, it took me about a half a dozen tries because they don't like to load on your screen until you are really close to them. I found the parts in the minigames to be much easier and only on Skye minigame #2 did I have to try it multiple times.

Either way, if you are stuck like I was after doing all the minigames and levels and don't know where you could have missed some, I would definitely check this level because I got the achievement WITHOUT getting all the pup treats so it threw me off because I wasn't paying enough attention with my notes and just accidentally counted it since the cheevo for getting them all popped.

Damn kids games... We should be able to play these and pay no attention at all and be able to get all the cheevos easily... That is literally why I like to play them because I can completely shut my brain off and do something totally mindless that a child could do. However, this is NOT the game for that as you will want to keep copious notes on your progress since the game has NO IN GAME TRACKER!

Happy hunting!

TheDude's guide is perfect, this is just something I figured out that I hope saves someone a few hours of their life.

The "Lights On" achievement for getting all the Pup Treats in the rescue misson "Electrical Shutdown" WILL POP EVEN IF YOU DO NOT GET ALL THE PUP TREATS IN THE FLYING PART AT THE END!

I did not take good enough notes and just counted the achievement popping as having got them all and then once I had done everything I was stuck at 29990/30000 and had no clue where I had missed 10. I then wasted like 2 hours redoing most of the minigames and the rescue missions until I hit this one and realized I missed some in the flying part at the end.

Please try this level first if you think you have done everything and can't find those couple missing Pup Treats. Hopefully this saves someone some of their time!

this is for those who have seemingly done everything but still miss a few treats and is suggested by a comment on another guide by DoomScott...I was missing 115 treats until I read the comment and realized one mission related cheevo had popped automatically without actually earning it, for me it was Hyperloop Havoc, so I replayed that mission, where I was actually missing a few treats, and cheevo popped

This achievement requires the following:

  • Get all pup treats in all eight main missions
  • Get all pup treats in all minigames within the eight main missions
  • Get all pup treats in all minigames that have collectibles (such as the Time Trials)
  • Get a gold medal in every minigame (you are awarded pup treats for a gold medal)
As mentioned previously, there is unfortunately no way to track which minigames you've played and how many pup treats you've gotten in each one. As a result, I highly recommend playing them in order and either making a mental note where you stop or just doing them all in one sitting.

Thankfully the main missions track, and will show them with a gold outline if you've collected all the pup treats (not to mention there is a corresponding achievement for each main mission to help you keep track).
