1. The actual basement area is the printing room itself. The area where Mitch goes to show the leak is not the the basement, even the hall is not the basement, same applies to the other house. The printing room, that is inside the two gated doors is the basement that the achievement is speaking about.
2. If you are doing this solo, either find a crowbar or have a C4 build with shaped charges, because sometimes there are C4's that explode inside the printing room, if they do, it opens a hole above, from where cops can get in, making the achievement much harder. So before the code finishes, get that crowbar or be prepared near the door to rush in, put on shaped charges and go defuse the C4's.
3. Any DOMINATED cops that get inside the basement VOID the achievement. So do not convert cops.
4. Having a C4 build lets you place quite a few traps to prevent any cops from going to the basement, I usually put 1 near the top of each stair case, 1 near the bottom of each stair case and one near the entrance to the halls that leads to the printing room.
5 THE MOST IMPORTANT PART! BEFORE attempting this achievement, do a hard reset for your Xbox, then go to your network settings and go offline. Now boot up the game, go to crime.net OFFLINE and do this heist on your own. When you have the safe opened and no cops came inside, then JUST IN CASE, pick up the thing required for completion of the heist and run to the escape. JUST IN CASE...
After you done the heist, turn the game off and go back to your network settings and go ONLINE.
You may not get the achievement notification, so go to your profile, then to achievements and check it, if it is unlocked. Or if you have a Windows 10 PC or Laptop that is connected with your Xbox account, you can see the notification for the achievement on your desktop.

This achievement will be a lot easier with two or more players as there are two different basements doors you will need to defend. You only have to keep the police out of the room with the safe and printer, so it’s okay if they come down the first set of steps in the houses. If you are doing it with more than two people, it’s best to have someone with upgraded sentry guns, an OVE9000 Saw and C4 just in case you can’t find the crowbar to get into the basement. After setting up both devices, put down your sentry guns in line with the first set of stairs. Once you have hacked both devices then it’s time to breach the door to the safe and printer with what you have. After that, you want to need start drilling the safe then go back upstairs and connected the hose to the safe, by pulling the hose and putting it in the safe when it is finished drilling. Now you can turn the water on and keep it flowing when the safe is full of water it will tell you it attach C4 to it, once it blows the achievement should unlock as long as no police go into the basement while you were doing all that.

This is a lot easier done with two or more players. There are two different basements you will need to defend. The trophy description is a bit misleading because you only need to keep cops out of the room where the safe and printing machine is. I also suggest having one player bring this Sentry Gun Build by Good Time Gaming because it'll have four upgraded Sentry Guns, while the other Player brings a build with upgraded ammo bags and an OVE9000 Saw. Place two sentries on the top floor of each house right near the stairs leading to the Basement. I suggest leaving one of the caged doors shut so cops cannot enter through one of them and the player who has the Saw opens one. If you do not bring a saw you will have to search the two houses and their garages for a Crowbar to open these locked doors.
Once you're inside the printing room you'll have to place a drill on the safe and wait 180 seconds. While the drill is going you'll also be told to drag the garden hose from the shed into the basement where the Safe is. If you get the hose here before the drill finishes then you'll have to wait. Once the Drill finishes hook the hose up into the safe and turn the water on. The player with the sentries needs to be guarding both basements and making sure the sentries are fully stocked while the other does all the objectives. Once the water finishes filling the safe it'll open and you'll be awarded the trophy immediately. You do not have to finish the heist.
