How to unlock the Every Dog Has His Day achievement in PAYDAY 2: CRIMEWAVE EDITION - Definitive Guide
Earning this trophy will require you to complete the heist on either Death Wish or Death Sentence difficulty. You have the option of doing it either stealth or loud and it will pop at heist completion for all players in the lobby.
Stealth
Before the mission starts, it would be wise to bring two body bag cases because all patrolling gangsters outside the mansion can be killed because none of them have pagers and you’ll get free reign of the map. To get two body bag cases in your inventory be sure to ace the Cleaner skill in the Shinobi tree of the Ghost skill tab. In the pre-planning it could also prove beneficial to purchase an additional body bag case, as well as the rope ladder for potential ease of entry back into the safe room later in the mission.
The start of the mission will be outside the mansion. Work your way around killing all gangsters while looking for the head of security. He will spawn on either side of the house or out on the docks. When you get close to him he will highlight and drop a usb once dispatched. Make sure to use all of your body bags to cleanly dispose of all the corpses so guards on the inside of the mansion won’t be alerted later on in the heist. You’ll need to take the usb stick to a laptop in one of two locations – the shed at the top of the stairs from your spawn or the garage by the ocean – which will be shown by an icon after picking the usb up. Whilst hacking the laptop you will twice be asked to rewire circuit boxes. There are roughly six potential spawn points of these circuit boxes scattered around the outside wall of the mansion or on the walls around the border of the property.
Once the laptop is finished, the shutters will open on one side of the house, allowing you to enter. Once inside you’ll need to navigate your way through guards to access a switch to open the rest of the house up to enter or exit, if need be. Be mindful of the guards inside, because they do have pagers, meaning you can only kill a maximum of four. The Butcher will then notify you she sent a bugged bag of yayo to record Sosa’s special pass phrase. There are multiple bags that spawn on any flat table surface inside of the mansion, but only one will have the audio. After finding the correct yayo, and making sure to pick up the recording device from the correct stash, an icon will be displayed showing you were to make the phone call at. Make sure the coast is clear because the phone call cannot be interrupted or the alarm will be tripped, similar to a pager.
After a successful phone call, access to the vintage blood red foyer with a grand staircase will be available. If you have been stingy with pagers, now is a good time to eliminate the two patrolling guards who can go to the ground level of the foyer to give nearly free reign of that area. Head upstairs to pick the lock of Sosa’s office door, being careful not to alert a guard on either side of the upstairs that may turn. Be very cautious entering Sosa’s office so you can one shot kill him in stealth. If he is alerted all hell will break loose, as he has boat loads of health and will likely kill you long before you are able to kill him. Push the red button to reveal a massive safe with many money and yayo bags. The yayo bags are all that is required to finish the mission. Your escape will spawn as a boat at the docks, a van at the end of the driveway, or a van near your spawn point. Below is a talkthrough of the heist by Namook Metaal
Loud
If the decision has been made to do the heist loud, it doesn’t vary a whole lot from the stealth variant. The only differences occur inside of the mansion. Everything prior to entering the mansion is exactly the same.
After you have flipped the switch to open all the shutter doors, you will be prompted to burn paintings. The eight paintings you need to burn are randomly assorted throughout the ground level of the mansions interior. You will need a gasoline can to burn these paintings. Although the mandatory stuff earlier in the mission is the same as stealth, you can scout around for the gas can prior to entering the mansion. The gas can is located at either the shed, garage, docks, or randomly alongside the house. The trigger point for burning the paintings will either be the middle courtyard inside the house, upstairs on the second floor patio, or out the front of the house by the pool.
Once the paintings are burnt, you’ll need to wait for Bile to arrive in his chopper to tie a magnet to some of Sosa’s cars so he can drop them into the ocean. The cars are all randomly spawned around the right side of the house from your initial spawn. When you get three cars dumped in the ocean, you’ll then be able to get into the red room. Inside the red foyer, you’ll need to destroy a couple of mini turrets that pop out of the ceiling. They are much weaker than SWAT turrets, so don’t worry. The rest of the mission will be completed as per usual, outside of having to pepper Sosa to oblivion before his demise.
