How to unlock the Great White achievement in PAYDAY 2: CRIMEWAVE EDITION - Definitive Guide
To get this trophy, you must complete the heist on Death Wish or Death Sentence difficulty. By completing the heist, everyone in the lobby will receive the trophy - regardless of their participation upon completion of the heist.
Before starting the heist, it is good to know that this is one of the few missions where all guards are restricted to fixed patrol paths. Guards in each area of the ship can patrol from port to starboard side of the yacht. The ships layout is also mirrored down the middle, making the layout easy to memorize. Using the Judge shotgun can be rather useful. The Judge can blast enemies into the air, meaning you don’t need to waste body bags on civilians. However, do not blast a guard over the ships edge as you can’t answer his pager. Take body bags as a deployable to bag up any guards you need to kill before throwing the fish food overboard. Below is a cross-section from Steam, outlining the areas of the ship and the amount of guards on patrol in the given space:
The first part of the heist you will be aiming to find a laptop. Once you find and log in to the laptop, you will be given the locations of the loot you are trying to steal. The loot is concealed in various locations on the yacht marked by colored stickers. The stickers can be either blue, green, red, white or yellow. The loot can be hidden inside of aquariums, bookshelves, cigar/wine storage, food carts, lifeboats, sleeping quarters or refrigerators. The colors will be randomly generated on the objects each heist attempt. Certain objects like food carts and life boats can spawn in different locations within their given zones, where as the rest of the objects are in fixed locations. Below is a cross-section, courtesy of Steam, that shows all loot spawn locations:
After snagging all eight bags of required loot and tossing them out the windows into the sea, you will need to venture back to the laptop to open the server room. Inside the server room lies four valves that need turned in order to gain access to a hard drive. The valve layout can be altered quite a bit from run to run of this heist. Sometimes you will be able to adjust all the valves while they are in one central hub and other times you will need to navigate through lasers to get to the valves as they are isolated in four separate hubs. Be extremely cautious to avoid tripping the silent alarm as it will trigger the point of no return. If the point of no return is triggered by accident too soon, you will not have time to snag the hard drive and get off the pick-up point, thus failing the heist. See below for a video from Namook Metaal that gives an in-depth tutorial on this heist. Take note to the beneficial server room trick, as it will be your ace in the hole for Thalassophobia:
