PAYDAY 2: CRIMEWAVE EDITION

You must plow through and complete this heist on either Death Wish or Death Sentence to earn this trophy. Any player in the lobby will receive this trophy at the advent of the heist completion screen.

As you arrive inside the mall, tie as many civilians as you can and kill the guards. Once the guards are dead, the civilians with provide a delayed response time, meaning you will have a bit of breathing space to storm through the initial heist objectives. You will need to find Santa, who will be helplessly tied in a chair in the center of the mall in front of the gigantic Christmas tree. Free him from his bondage and smack him across his face to make him spit out an objective to you.

Once you hit Santa, he'll tasks you with an objective. You will be tasked with rifling through the mall for an item he was inquiring about. Once you've found the item in question, bring it back to and secure it at the base of the Christmas tree. This process will be repeated an additional two times, with a new item to find on each occasion. With a little luck, two or all three of these objectives can be finished before the assault comes and you start to sleigh the enemies. Below is a list of the potential objectives Santa can give you, of which you’ll need to find three.

• Toy - The toy has two possible spawn variations. The first is inside the toy shop, located on the ground level of the mall. You’ll need to scavenge through randomly assorted presents to find it. The second spawn variant can be located anywhere in the main mall area. You’ll need to search shopping bags because someone may have already purchased the toy before the heist began. The shopping bags can be located on the ground and upper level of the mall in numerous random locations.
   
• Wine - Located in a random present inside the Wine shop. The Wine shop can be found on the second floor of the mall.
   
• Necklace - You'll need to gain access to the Jewelry store located on the upper level of the mall. The security shutters will be closed so you’ll need to venture around the side of the store to open up the door via lockpick, saw or c4. Once inside, you'll need to initiate a hack on the stores computer to get access to a keypad. Keep the hack safe and uninterrupted to speed the process up. Once the hack is complete you can press the keypad to life the bulletproof glass protecting the valuable necklace.
   
• High heels - You'll need to enter the store on the upper level of the mall and use the stores computer to hack the inventory database. The shoes can be spawned in two locations. The first location will be in the back room of the shoe store. To get into this room you'll need to drill, saw or c4 a door open and then bag up the shoe box. The second location is in the mall's storage area, which is protected by a similar door. Finding the shoes here will require you to open a few boxes until you find the shoe box.
   
• VR - Located inside the Electronics store in a safe. The safe will be behind a security shutter that needs bypassed, as well as the safe, to acquire this item. The electronics store is located by one of the two main entrances of the mall on the ground level.

After securing all of Santa's loot, you need to go up onto the rooftop of the mall to signal Bile to drop some c4. Light a signal flare and find a place to hunker down on the rooftop whilst you wait for the bird to fly in. Be mindful of the many snipers that spawn on other rooftops, all in elevated positions. Once the bag of c4 is dropped, you’ll need to pick up some explosives and go place them on the skylight dome. After all the charges are placed, the dome will blow up and Bile will be bringing the chopper back to tie the Christmas tree to.

Don’t be tempted to take a shortcut down through the new hole in the roof as you will likely go down. When you get back to the second floor, you can actually jump into the Christmas tree and slowly platform your way to the ground as a safe shortcut. When Bile comes back, you need to tie 4 wires to the Christmas tree so you can be lifted out of the mall. Once the four wires are attached, slap Santa one last time and sit back and enjoy some milk and cookies with Santa as you are lifted to safety.
