How to unlock the Their Armor Is Thick and Their Shields Broad achievement in PAYDAY 2: CRIMEWAVE EDITION - Definitive Guide

Gage chivalry weapons are as followed:

Buckler shield
Bearded axe
Morning star
Great sword

I went with the bearded axe and had concussion grenades and combined tactical vest, What ever guns you see fit to use, my perk deck was muscle (maxed)
The only real stats you want is as followed:

Martial arts (aced)
Bloodthirst (aced)
Pumping iron (aced)
Counterstrike (aced)

I used the heist "jewelry store" on normal difficulty with team AI on in crime.net offline. The shields should arrive at first assault. They can come from the left or right of the street and can also repel down the building behind the store.

I found this to be waaaaay easier on hard difficulty instead of normal. The spawn rate for the shields is much higher, and if you have Muscle and Combined tactical vest on you shouldn't really have much trouble with dying. I got this in about 5 minutes. Easy peasy.

This can be done on any difficulty so I would recommend doing it on normal, but there is a higher spawn rate on very hard or above. It must be done with any of the melee weapons in the Chivalry Pack and must be done in a single day of a heist. The shield enemies spawn in all the heists you just need to be patient. On Watch Dogs under the Hector contracts, is a good one as four shields do spawn right outside the white truck rather often on Overkill difficulty, so you can get four kills straight away if they don’t just restart. I would recommend you do it on your own without AI as they do kill the shields, or do it with two or more people.

Here is a list of the melee weapons you get with the Gage Chivalry Pack, also a picture of a shield enemy if you’re playing the game for the first time.

I suggest using the Great Sword Melee weapon here as it's the most powerful melee weapon in the Chivalry Pack. Also you should be using the Melee build I linked in the above trophies description to kill Shields faster. This has to be done in a single day of a heist so you should be attempting this on One Day heist to ensure you'll get it. I suggest using the Diamond Store heist on Overkill or at least Very hard difficulty to increase the spawn rate. Just go loud straight away and kill shields with your Melee weapon when they come in. An alternative heist can be Watch Dogs as four shields will be spawned right outside the white truck so you can get four kills straight away. Either way, once you have made your tenth shield kill with a Gage chivalry weapon in a single heist you'll be awarded the trophy. If you do not like the Great Sword below will be a list of weapons you can use for this trophy.
