How to unlock the Let the Man Work achievement in PAYDAY 2: CRIMEWAVE EDITION - Definitive Guide

This is actually quite a simple achievement.

1. Turret build. Suppressed sentries, AP Rounds enabled. Just place the turrets in a spot where they are only covering the mechanic, and refill them every so often.

2. Find cover while in view of the mechanic, if anyone gets to close that your turrets don't see, blast them away!

3. I recommend the GL40 and Judge, they are both incredibly powerful, and have an excellent ammo pool, so you don't need to worry about ammo after placing your turrets down.

Might take a few tries, I got it on my third. If you would like help with this, just message me on xbox. I'll help you out.

Note: I do recommend two players for this one. One with ammo bags and the other with sentry guns. Makes things a lot easier. Refer to the last post in this guide for a full heist walkthrough if you get stuck.

Before you begin the heist you will want a Sentry Gun build to make defending Mike the Mechanic a lot easier. Sentry Builds use to be trash compared to other builds in the game. However with the new update came the new skill trees so Sentry guns are very useful for defending any objective in Payday 2. The build I suggest you use will be linked below so be sure to look that over if you're confused on how to spend your skills.

Day 1 of the the heist will start with you and the entire crew unmasked watching Mike get punched in the face by the OVERKILL MC. When your crew is ready mask up and kill all the bikers and untie Mike from the chair. From here you will have to follow Mike to the truck where Rust's bike is located. This is where he will be working for the majority of the heist. Set up sentry guns around Mike and find a nice camping spot nearby. Mike will not work on the bike until he has the necessary parts and tools for the job. There are 7 different tasks mike can ask you to do for him. However, you will sometimes only get 6 so one will be random whether you get it or not. Below I've outlined each one of these tasks and explained how to get them done. The tasks marked in red you will need to defend Mike while he works. Also keep in mind that after each task is complete you will need to defend Mike for 2-3 minutes while he puts the bike back together. If Mike's hands go up like he is surrendering to the police even once this will void the trophy so be extra careful. Once all the objectives are met and Mike lowers the bike down for you to take you will be awarded the trophy.

  • Get Mike a new Engine: The engine will be located in one of the wooden crates in the clubhouse. You will have to walk up to these crates and hold to open them. They are on the bottom floor and top floor.

  • Help Mike get the special parts: Mike will need access to the garage. So you will have to walk in through the side entrance and drill, or blow open the door. Once inside you will have to press a button on the wall and open the front door of the garage for Mike to start walking in. Once Mike makes his way over to the bike in the Garage he will begin pulling parts off of it. DO NOT let any cops interrupt Mike here as this also counts toward the trophy.

  • Get Mike a Bottle of Soda: This is obviously not a Bike part so you will have an extra objective if you get this one. Mike can randomly get thirsty and you will need to find the vending machine inside the clubhouse in order to get him a drink. Once you bring it back to him he will continue working.
  • Get Mike the Exhaust & Fuel Tank: These will both be in the garage on a platform you will need to lower down. Enter the garage and plug in the wire on the left side. Then press the red button on the opposite side. The game will show you where these are, so don't worry. Once the red button has been pressed the platform will lower and you can carry the Exhaust and Fuel tank over to Mike.
  • Get Mike the Bike Seat: The Seat to the Bike is located in the underground bunker. If you're unsure where it is, the game updates the objective so you won't be lost. The door needs to be drilled. So place a drill and defend it. Snipers are on the bridge above you here so be careful and take them out. Once the bunker door opens the seat will be on the right side of the bunker.

  • Get Mike the Tools: The tools Mike needs are located in the Garage. You do not need to open the doors inside here. There are three red tool boxes and two gray tool boxes you will need to search in order to find the tools.

  • Get Mike the Chrome Skull: Firstly, Mike will hand you a blow torch walk up to him and collect it. Then go to the second floor of the clubhouse and cut open the metal door. Inside this door will be a safe you need to drill open. The skull will be inside this safe.
