PAYDAY 2: CRIMEWAVE EDITION

This achievement normally requires four players but using dummy accounts it's possible for as little as two players to do it, or to double box it if both consoles have game and Gold privileges.

Like so many DLC achievements this one is glitchy, but doing the offline launch trick will help prevent that. While playing on your home Xbox:

• Quit the game fully to ensure no quick resume
• Go offline in Settings > Network
• Launch the game while offline
• Open inventory and go back to main menu to force a save
• Without closing the game, go back online through your Xbox settings

From here the host will start up Crime.net, choose Contract_Broker on the left, select The Continental and finally Brooklyn 10-10. Set the difficulty to Overkill, lobby to private, other settings as desired, then invite your party.

Before starting everyone will need the Extra Lead skill to allow you to place 2 ammo bags, which can be found in the third tier of Enforcer > Ammo Specialist (or second page, third tree if this doesn't translate exactly to other languages). On the mission briefing screen you can view the party's loadouts and you'll see a x2 next to the Ammo Bag icon if everyone has it set up correctly. If anybody is missing the x2, quit back to lobby and help them set it up.

Now for the requirements. When you reach the second part of the heist that takes part in the second building, there will be two caged doors in randomly spawned places. One room will have a briefcase (needed for the heist) plus various gun cases you can loot. The other room will have a bunch of ammo on shelves and a crowbar (needed for the heist); this is the room the achievement needs. Drill open the door, have everyone place their ammo bags on the ground within, then finish the heist. The achievement should pop on the results screen afterwards if it didn't glitch.

If you want to do this with two people it'll require some dummy accounts. Only players in the heist from beginning to end will get the achievement, so you will have to run it twice for both players to get it. The dummies will need to be level 6 at least to have the skill points for Extra Lead; the stealth tutorial heist gives enough XP for this but will take ~10 minutes per account.

The host should set up the lobby as described above and play solo until the ammo room. From there the second player will join on one dummy, place their ammo bags, then quit. The ammo bags will despawn but that's ok, that doesn't void the achievement. You can't reuse that dummy as they won't get their equipment back, so the second dummy will have to join to do the same thing. Lastly the second player should join on their main to drop the last bags. Finish the heist and the achievement will pop for the host, provided it didn't glitch out.
