PAYDAY 2: CRIMEWAVE EDITION

This trophy can be obtained on either Overkill, Mayhem, Death Wish, or Death Sentence difficulty. Do note this trophy should be done on Overkill due to Sosa having more health on higher difficulties. Upon killing Sosa with the Commando 101, the trophy will pop. If multiple players are in a lobby, only the player who kills Sosa will get the trophy.

Before beginning the heist, you’ll want to go to your inventory and equip the Commando 101 as a secondary weapon. If you think you will need the 101 to take out dozers throughout the mission leading up to the final boss, it would be best to use an ammo bag as your deployable. The ammo bag is good because this weapon has zero ammo pickup from dead enemies if you use it before the final boss.

Play through the heists objectives, as well as flamingo spawns if you decide to pair this with Look at These Pelicans Fall, until you’ve taken out the turrets inside the mansion. An explosion will take place and enemies will flood out of Sosa’s office. Run in and start laying into the cock-a-roach Sosa with the Commando 101, he will be dressed in a white suit. The hit detection seems to be a bit wonky at times so it can take anywhere from two to ten or so rockets to kill the boss. If the hit detection is acting up for you, this is where the aforementioned ammo bag will save you.

Be aware that if you are going for this in a multiplayer lobby you will want to be host. The trophy would not pop until I was hosting the session when I killed Sosa.
