The Recon sight is an attachment for sniper rifles and assault rifles. So choose whatever you feel most comfortable with and start up a heist. I chose Prison Nightmare because it is infinite and there are many places to run to when you get overwhelmed. I just grabbed the second keycard and farmed kills in the middle of the prison.
So just watch your health and make sure that you keep track of your kills. If you aren't sure how many kills you have, try and aim for 225-250 kills just to make sure. Make sure to aim down sights, I am not sure that hip-firing counts for this achievement so better safe than sorry.

You can only use one weapon with the recon sight. What i mean by this is, each weapon has it's own counter and equipping a recon sight on another weapons means you have two guns with their own independent number of kills that go to the achievement. So keep that in mind if you happen to have two recon sights.
I used Hostage taker to make sure I was regenerating my health. There are certainly perk decks you can take advantage of, but I stuck with Armourer.
Don't forget. You must complete the heist to unlock the achievement

There's a crew ability or a crew boost that refills one throwable per 35 kills. I brought 6x conc grenades, threw them all at the start of the heist and fought the assault waves until I had 6 more in my inventory. That's 210 kills. 👌
