I'm pretty sure it's impossible to solo, not just "easier with more players". The bare minimum is 1 more person doing it as well. By yourself, you can only disarm 4 out of the 6.

Thanks for the input, I'll add. I believe easier difficulties can be done solo, but obviously this one calls for a higher difficulty.

Much easier now thanks to the latest patch and can be done solo as the ECM jammer now delays the ink packages from exploding.
Bring an ECM Jammer, gain access to the vault, then unlock the interior door but do not yet open it. Once you have the door unlocked, place the ECM jammer down by holding left on your D-Pad, activate the device by tapping left again, then open the door and quickly set about diffusing the 8 stacks of money.
Once the devices are all successfully disarmed, you must collect every bag in the van, and then the achievement will pop once the heist is completed!

Even with multiple people, having one person run ECM Jammer provides great peace of mind.
I'm not sure if it's because I had my mask off still, but for the two stacks of cash that are on the low dolly, I had a hard time getting the prompt to defuse the dye pack on the rear stack of cash. The ECM Jammer came in clutch by allowing me to take the time to figure out exactly where the prompt would appear. It's also possible I could have saved myself by defusing and then bagging the front pile of cash to more easily reach the rear stack.
