How to unlock the Don't lose face achievement in Payday: The Heist - Definitive Guide

You need to beat all six original heists on the Overkill difficulty, and no teammate can be traded from custody with a hostage. The two heists from the Wolf Pack DLC do not count towards this trophy.

Players are allowed to be caught and put into custody, but for the sake of the trophy they are not allowed to play anymore for the rest of the heist. So staying alive as long as possible will help out your team.

Every heist has a challenge for completing it on Overkill difficulty without anyone getting traded from custody. You can check which heists you are missing by looking on the challenges that you have not done yet. From the main menu, go to 'Challenges' and then 'Active Challenges' to see all challenges that you haven't done yet.

Here is a list of general tips that can help you completing the Overkill difficulty:

  • Don't use more than two of the same crew bonuses within the team since it will be a waste of bonuses.
  • Use either a fully upgraded Doctor Bag or Ammo Bag. Make sure that there will be at least one of each in a heist. Two of each is a good general setup.
  • Don't use Doctor Bags until you are low on health and maybe after being rescued once or twice. Unlike the ammo bag, the doctor bag has a fixed amount of uses.
  • Stay together and don't go to an area or objective alone. There could be a Cloaker or Taser hiding in the corner.
  • Avoid doing objectives during assaults and instead hide and defend yourselves. Once the assault is over, the enemies aren't aggressive anymore and they won't use smoke bombs. This way you will save bullets as well.
  • Use button to tag special enemies so other players can see the threat. This is very useful when being tased to mark the Taser so others can save you. Use it to tag special enemies behind smokescreens. Also use it when you are in bleedout to let others know if there are special enemies nearby in case they are going to save you.
  • Destroy cameras to make it harder for the enemies to find your location. The enemies will have to split up and search for you. If you don't destroy the cameras then the enemies will attack you in bigger groups.
  • There will be a lot more enemies during Overkill difficulty so it's important to save bullets and try aiming for their heads.

It just takes practice. I can’t recommend anything, since it all depends on your skill. The only thing is that I have compiled a list here according to the difficulty of the levels, by which you can at least know which level is the most difficult and which is the easiest.

From the easiest to the most difficult

Diamond Heist

First World Bank

Panic Room

Heat Street

Slaughterhouse

Green Bridge

There is one very important point in completing all these robberies. Three of you, two of you, or one can complete the mission, but under no circumstances should you exchange hostages.

The hint at the top is completely inaccurate. I will now really correctly describe the levels from the easiest to the most difficult and what lvl is desirable to complete it (the examples of leveling up are approximate, if you want, you can start with a lower lvl, but it will be an order of magnitude more difficult ).

1. (the easiest) - First World Bank "to pass, it is required that each person in the team have at least lvl 60 "

2. (easy) - Diamond Heist "to pass, it is required that 3 people in the team have at least lvl 70 and one person knows how to work well in stealth"

3. (medium) - Panic Room "to pass, each person on the team must be at least lvl 100 "

4. (above average) - Slaughterhouse "to pass, it is required that each person in the team have at least lvl 100 "

5. (difficult) - Green Bridge "to pass, it is required that each person in the team has at least lvl 145 (maximum lvl) "

6. (very difficult, hellish) - Heat Street "to pass, it is required that each person in the team have at least lvl 145 (maximum lvl) and at least a kilogram of validol, a couple of packs of valerian, from 10 to 30 hours of nerdiness and a pair of 3 joysticks" - Not everyone can withstand their nerves at this level, so prepare for the worst, that someone from the team will abandon the game.
