How to unlock the Hasta La Vista, Baby. achievement in PC Building Simulator - Definitive Guide

This achievement can be done in two ways:

1. Play normally for a REALLY LONG TIME until you reach 2029 naturally.

2. When starting a new day, there will be an option to skip the day. Doing this around 4000 times will get you the achievement. In the process you'll also most likely unlock Calling In Sick

I used the second method to save time.

With this being Play Anywhere, I loaded it up on PC and set an auto-clicker running to click the Skip Day button repeatedly.

The landlord and utility company are also very patient and understanding it seems, as I skipped through 10+ years of monthly rent and utility bill payments and didn't get the power cut or get removed from the building. laugh

I did that but when i get to Jan 2020 says the save file to large and i can continue, but every time i skip a day it says the same thing. Anyone else have this issue when doing it on PC?

I lost a save on xbox because I skipped for 1 year. This is because your mail has hundreds of messages and either the email will not open up, or if it does, you have to delete for an hour in order to save your game.

So, if you are doing this, I'd recommend a few things.

1. Do it on a different file. The reason is that you will have millions in rent after 10 years and you will not be able to pay it off.
2. Do it a month at a time. This is obviously optional but makes the deleting emails more manageable. I did 1 year and my xbox one X really struggled.
3. I recommend doing this achievement on PC if you can. I have a terrible PC, but going into my email and deleting by clicking on the mouse was a LOT quicker than xbox even though it ran at 10fps on my PC.

Thanks @I AM CULLY i think the error is a in game error because the computer only starts with 120GB hard drive and small amount of ram. I cleared out emails and was not getting save file to large. clap

And its on windows 10 play anywhere. @Octobot Super

Thanks, I wasn't aware of Play Anywhere. I wonder if my computer would even be able to load the game! laugh

I can run it decently on my crappy laptop that struggles to run Left 4 Dead

My computer can barely handle Binding of Isaac (and even then at a very poor framerate), if that gives any sort of indication.

Just a word of advice. Make this achievement your last one. Get everything else first. Then completely delete your save file everywhere. Start a new game. Do the first job (virus check), collect the cash, then just end day and skip days. The days go by LIGHTNING QUICK. As opposed to doing on a fully-activated save file, which takes an absolute age to skip to the next day.

To add to Dwaggienite. Hook up a mouse to your xbox so you can just click the skip day button so you can just spam click the skip day button.

FOR WINDOWS 10 USERS:

Easy Peasy! I recommend doing this achievement FIRST.

1. Start a new game with the graphical settings set to minimum. This is important, as the autosave between each day lasts a fraction of a second compared to a save with loads of inventory and jobs.

2. Using your favourite autoclicker (I recommend googling Autoclicker by Shocker), set up a clicker to run at 10ms with a hotkey to turn it on and off. With Shocker's, this defaults to ALT+SPACE

3. Ignore the tutorial - go straight to the door of the office, and end the day.

4. Pop the cursor over Skip Day, and start your Autoclicker.

Don't worry about paying rent or bills - it won't matter. Just leave it running for ten minutes, making sure the cursor stays over the Skip Day button. As soon as you hit the year 2029, the cheev will pop!

Now you can delete the autosaves and start a proper game without having to worry about this ridiculous achievement clap

You can DL Shocker's clicker here:

Either go for this achievement as soon as you start the game, or make sure to backup your save files!!!

This might as well be the easiest achievement in the game. Simply start a new game, go to the door, and set an auto clicker that clicks on the next day. Depending on the speed you set it to, and your CPUs power, it will take ~10 minutes to get the achievement to pop.

You can get it at the very beginning of the game after 30 minutes. Just go to the door (exit) and select “end the day.” Next, without leaving the door menu, click “skip day” several thousand times, and so on until January 1, 2029.
