Peggle 2

Green pegs in Peggle grant you the ability to use your Peggle Masters special ability. For this achievement you will need to hit 300 of them.

During the main levels, there are 2 green pegs per level, apart from the first 10 introductory levels*, so there are 50 levels in total that have 2 pegs each. You dont need to hit the green pegs to complete the level, though they are useful. If you hit every one through the main levels, you should have 100, so a 1/3 of the way there.

The trials don't all have green pegs; some have none, some have at least 4. If you are looking to boost this achievement, the best place to do this is on the trials where you are required to score more than 1,000,000 points (I also found Gnormans special ability for these most useful) as these have way more green pegs than normal to help you reach the high score.

You can keep repeating these as many times as you like. I would aim specifically for the green pegs on the level, and then restart as soon as they are all gone, you dont need to finish the level for the green pegs to count, I can confirm this.

If you have the DLC with Jimmy the beaver, the first trial has 16 green pegs and also many blue pegs if you want to grind this achievement :
