During the third act and after the attack on you know who, go to the forest. Both Apollo and Artemis are there (Artemis is near the shrine). If, like me, you inadvertently locked the option to have the twins help (oops), you can also unlock this one by getting a rope from Baltasar, who is located in the North Town near the Rathaus. This won't unlock the Second Plague achievement, but will net you this one at least. It unlocked once I climbed down into the salt mine.
