How to unlock the Displaying Adaptability achievement in Persona 3 Portable - Definitive Guide
The description of this achievement is self-explanatory. You simply change your Persona from the one you're equipped with when you start battle to another in your roster a total of five times before winning it. On your initial turn in battle, scroll down the command wheel until you find the 'Persona' option (mask symbol) and you can find your other Personas from which to switch from the one you start with. Keep in mind, you can only switch once per turn, and when you switch, the 'Persona' option is grayed out and unavailable for selection, not activating again until you do any other action that can end your turn except 'Tactics' and 'Escape'. When you start your next turn, you can switch Personas again, and do the action that will end your turn. Repeat this five times, and the achievement should pop on screen.
My strategy for this is basically just progress all the way to the highest point in Tartarus you can go (16F) in the first block, and when you decide to venture back in the dungeons, elect to split up your party, and then venture solo to find a Shadow to engage and start battle. Depending on how many enemies you face, if you're facing more than one, switch your Persona and then use 'Attack' or an attack from the 'Skill' menu if such a move from the Persona you switch to is available. When you knock the numbers down to one active enemy or start with such in battle, select 'Defense' to guard after switching Personas to burn away all remaining turns and not end your battle prematurely until the achievement pops.

You’ll 100% get this one naturally if you’re trying to get every achievement in the game, because in the Margaret fight, you’re likely to change Persona a good 20 or 30 times! If you’re not going for the Margaret fight though, there’s plenty of bosses that you can do this against, just make sure you’re holding multiple Personas. Then, at the beginning of every turn, change Personas in the wheel menu. It doesn’t have to be 5 different Personas, either, we did it with just 2, switching back and forth over the space of about 10 turns.

In Battle, you can change characters every turn; at the initial levels, when you have few people and the enemies are weak, you will not need to change them, but by the middle of the game, strong and fat bosses will appear, so you can do this achievement on them. Change persona 5 times in one battle and the achievement is yours
