Twilight Fragments in Persona 3 Reload are brand new to the series, and are one of the new tweaks to the original Persona 3 games.
Twilight Fragments are effectively chest keys, although some of these specially locked chests will require more than one Twilight Fragment to open them.
In the early months of Persona 3 Reload you’ll find these twinkling fragments all over Tatsumi Port Island. You can find them by benches, on the roof of the dorms, and so on. These are finite supplies though. In order to get your hand on enough of them to open all the treasure chests, you’ll need to complete Social Links and certain requests for Elizabeth, as well as find cats in Tartarus. Yes, cats.
From May 10th, Elizabeth will start rewarding you with Twilight Fragments for Social Links - don’t worry, they’re backdated, so if you’ve done 10 before May 10th, you’ll get a nice healthy batch of them on May 10th. This will give you a steady supply of them moving forwards.
Once you’ve used 50 Twilight Fragments on chests, you’ll unlock the ‘Shattered Plumes’ achievement.
