On the next visit to Tartarus, when you reach the 12th floor you will encounter a shadow that Misturu will deem as a rare shadow.
Simply follow it to the left, attack it to enter the encounter and defeat it unlocking this achievement.

While on the 12th floor of Tartarus, still in Thebel, Mitsuri mentions there being a rare enemy on this floor - this rare enemy is the series staple, the golden hand, Wealth Hand.
At first the Wealth Hand will run away, but you’ll be able to follow it down a passageway and corner it, thus allowing you to kill it. Just hammer it with melee attacks and eventually you’ll get the best of him and unlock ‘The Thrill of the Hunt’ achievement.
For future reference, the best way to take down the rare golden Hands as you make your way up Tartarus, is to either a.) Try to inflict Shock, so the next attack is a critical; b.) Try to inflict Freeze, so the next attack is also critical; or c.) Use Rebellion or the like, to raise your crit chance. Then, when it's down, you can All-Out Attack it to deadly effect.
