How to unlock the Get a Load of Those Numbers! achievement in Persona 3 Reload - Definitive Guide
While this might seem like a daunting prospect when you’re dealing 50-100 damage in the lower floors of Tartarus, this is actually quite easily attainable, but you do need to set yourself up for it.
We achieved this against the Lovers boss during the July 7th Full Moon event. Luckily, we’d played the original enough to know that the first battle was just the appetiser, and as a result, we built up all our Theurgy attacks and saved them for the final showcase against the Lovers boss.
So, what we did was this:
- Used Fuuka’s Theurgy move to buff the entire party (accuracy, attack and defence)
- Then, we used Mitsuru’s Rakunda spell to drop the Lovers’ defences.
- Before finally using Yunpei’s Theurgy attack against the Lovers boss.
This landed a hit that did around 1,100 total damage (at level 27). If that doesn’t work for you, the key to this is to basically: debuff the enemy’s defence, buff your attack, and then unleash your signature attack to unlock the ‘Get a Load of Those Numbers!’ achievement.
There’ll be plenty of opportunities to do this throughout Tartarus too, and by the end of the game we’d done this multiple times, so don’t sweat it too much.
But if you want to get the trophy ahead of time, then:
1) Go to the first floor.
2) Use on a hero who is about to attack with the Attack Boost skill (Tarukaya or Matarukaya).
3) Use the defense reduction skill (Racunda or Maracunda) on the enemy.
4) Use the "Concentration" (for a magical attack) or "Charge" (for a physical attack) skill, if you have one.
5) Use the Person with the highest Magic or Strength stat (depending on the damage type) and the highest rank skill, and attack with it. Or use Theurgy (Yes, damage increase and Focus/Charge affect Theurgy).
