Player Advantage basically means entering a fight by hitting the shadow from behind. It doesn’t matter in this game whether you see the red exclamation mark pop, as long as you hit the shadow from behind, you’re golden.
If you’re struggling, when you get a Shuffle Time, and the “Avoid Encounters” card appears, grab that and it’ll effectively make you invisible for a short amount of time.
