How to unlock the Lucky Me! achievement in Persona 4 Golden - Definitive Guide

You can earn this as early as "After School" on Monday the 18th of April.

Save before trying.

  • Go to "Shopping District, North"
  • Head to the vending machines at the top of the hill. They're on the left side of the road, near the main road at the end.
  • You can buy 5 drinks a day. There's a chance you'll win a prize with your drink. If you don't win after 5 tries, you could simply reload and try again, or wait until next time.
Winning the prize also gets you the achievement.

I don't know what the odds are for winning the prize, but I got it on my first try on 4/18, getting a Dr. Salt NEO for the bug boy in the shrine. I then got another prize with my second drink, so hopefully your luck is good too.

At the top of the Shopping District North, near where Saki Konishi’s parent’s liquor store is, there are two blue vending machines next to the door. They sell drinks, but also there’s a chance to win another drink right after thanks to a roulette machine. If you win, you win an achievement too. It’s 120 yen for a drink, and I literally won five drinks in a row after I inserted money for my second attempt. This is a pretty easy achievement.
