I recommend evening when you have an activity spare because most daytime activities are used up automatically at school.
It costs 500 in game currency to use the Batting Cages and it is unlimited at night making it easier to get the achievement.

Tip: must progress in story arc to unlock shopping and activities first to get this achievement.

The batting cages are available at any time in Yongenjaya and are places you can spend time. In the early game, it'll be the most efficient way of getting proficiency points, as your caretaker won't let you outside of Yongenjaya for a while. This trophy involves going to the batting cages and hitting at least one baseball.
When you go to the batting cages, you'll need to play a mini-game where you use the 
to angle your bat and the interact button to hit the ball. Position your bat in the glowing silhouette and hit the ball when the pitching machine fires it. You'll have to time it right in order to hit the ball.
During the day you'll be given five balls to potentially hit, whereas at night you can keep going as long as you want. If you're particularly bad with coordination, night is definitely the time to earn this trophy as you can just keep going until you earn it.
The trophy will unlock when you hit a ball for the first time. Below is a video showing this.
